Have Faith in God
Mark 11:22
And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
Glory to God. As believers, we should always be using our faith for something. If you’re just living day to day, and you don’t have a faith project before God-you’re not receiving the best of God. For God will let you be saved, and stay exactly where you are for forty years without blinking. But His desire is “Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward.” Glory to God! Which way is northward? North is up! His desire is that you always move up in life in some facet.
That’s what showers of blessings are-God rewarding your faith and moving you “northward” from the mountains you’ve compassed long enough. In Jesus name, you will move from faith to faith and check off faith requests as done giving Him all the glory!
However, I want to spend some time building your faith so you can be successful because some things we desire are quantum leaps. First, we must know who we have faith in and who will perform what we’re asking for. I heard a minister say, “If it’s something you can do on your own, then do it. You don’t need faith for that. But if it’s something you can’t accomplish on your own-the way you desire (with all the bells and whistles that come with it) then that’s a job for faith.”
Mark 11:22 says Jesus said unto them, “Have faith in God.” He said-have faith in GOD! Not your ability; your parents, spouse, boss, the government, the doctors, lawyers, or any human being or structure system on this earth. Jesus said “Have faith in GOD.” Also, 1 Corinthians 2:5 says “your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.” Why? John 4:24 says, “God is a spirit.” A devotion from Isaiah 31:3 expounded on the difference between God and people. It said, “Now the Egyptians are men, and not God; and their horses flesh, and not spirit. When the Lord shall stretch out his hand, both he that helps shall fall, and he that is helped shall fall down, and they all shall fail together.” People fall and they are all made by God's hands. They most certainly will fail you, but there is no failure in anything God puts His hands to! He created the earth and universe-has either fail to this day?
God is a spirit, and He uses spiritual forces to get things done for us. You may be looking for a person to help, and God wants to send His angels to be the person, to create the opportunity, or to uproot the company. He used angels along with Jesus to totally eradicate two cities-every company, structure, business, house, mountain, river, hospital, court and all that people had built went up in flames in minutes at their command. If needed, He can even use His angels to replace jurors and they look just like the people men selected. Whatever God needs to be done on earth, He has angels that can accomplish His will easily for us.
In addition, we don’t decide what He sends His angels to do and what He uses them for. He uses them for whatever He decides to use them for and it doesn’t matter if men are in agreement or not. There is something in your life He will send angels to do but He's looking for your faith. Have faith in God, and all the impossibilities His power wants to show you! He’s just waiting on you to stay in faith and believe in Him-and He’ll do the rest.
Prayer:
Father, let us have faith in you. Let us remember how from the very beginning You utilized Your angels when things were impossible, trying, and men wouldn’t give. Let us remember how you didn’t consult man for what you wanted to do for your people-You just made it happen as Your Word said. Father, you promised us a what shall be done promise, and I believe Your set time to deliver is near. Remember what You promised; remember your covenant and perform and confirm Your Word to Your people. Send us help from the sanctuary and strengthen us out of Zion. Let us not equate Your unmatchable power to what people can do for the thing we think is too hard-Your angels can bind and loose with ease. Oh Lord God let the showers of blessings fall now. In Jesus name,Fall showers of blessings-showers of healings, cures, peace, prosperity, increase, joy, new beginnings, and turn arounds. Now Lord, cover us by the blood of Jesus, and keep us all safe and sound. In Jesus name we pray, Amen!
