Psalm 105:24
Zechariah 9:16-17
16 And the Lord their God shall save them in that day as the flock of his people: for they shall be as the stones of a crown, lifted up as an ensign upon his land.
17 For how great is his goodness, and how great is his beauty! corn shall make the young men cheerful, and new wine the maids.
Zechariah 10:1
Ask ye of the Lord rain in the time of the latter rain; so the Lord shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field.
Glory to God. A few weeks ago, I told you there will be two dynamics going on in the world at the same time, and the Lord will tell His people of what is to come. And it’s not to scare us, for we are under the covering of the Lord, but to warn us of His actions in the world. The world system has arrived at a place where it is trying to replace God. The latest technology advancements if you really consider what the purpose is, you will understand the design is to duplicate everything that God has done and His voice. So instead of seeking the Lord for His way and voice, society has created all these substitute voices that can give you answers and information. Things are being built so the people rely on them for direction, advice, help, comfort, and even companionship. God forbid!
On the surface it appears to be a good thing, but the root is powered by the forces of darkness. So when God said, “Seek Him so you can live” it was also telling us You will have to be connected to Him, and His voice to discern the difference and not become a partaker in the last grand scheme of the enemy to rise up and usher in the book of Revelation. The goal is to take complete control of the world and destroy the church and people of God. But anything that exalts itself above God will be brought down. God will bring it all down.
That is why we must discern the time and stay rapture ready. For the wrath of God is the same today, and forevermore. If the Lord judged those in Genesis for trying to take His place-why would He do anything differently now? He IS the same God. If He didn’t let it slide then, He won’t let it slide now so let us stay rapture minded for we are getting closer to God taking His people from this world.
Yes, the world without God will go in the direction of whomever they follow, but for the people who will stay upon God and remain in Him-showers of blessings and rain is your portion. You don’t have to be afraid of the trouble, for our text tells us what God has spoken over this next year for His people. For on the calendar He designed, we have already entered His new year. Let today, be a day of thanksgiving for all the Lord has done and continues to do. Let this be a day of true repentance to the Lord. For as the Lord brings down those exalting themselves above Him, at the same time He is lifting up His people. The Lord God will be exalted and His glory will fill His temple. Every attempt to replace Him will end in destruction.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, we praise and glorify Your name. We thank you for all the goodness You’ve already brought into our lives. We thank you for all the goodness that is come. Father, we ask you for rain in Jesus name. Send your rain to our lives in abundance and let there be no drought nor dearth in any form or fashion. Let famine, the sword, pestilence, and all plagues be far from us. Place Your people in a spiritual Goshen under the mighty protection of Your hand and blessing. Now Lord, cover us by the blood of Jesus and keep us safe and sound. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
You are blessed! Go in peace!
Zechariah 10:1-8
Ask ye of the Lord rain in the time of the latter rain; so the Lord shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field.
2 For the idols have spoken vanity, and the diviners have seen a lie, and have told false dreams; they comfort in vain: therefore they went their way as a flock, they were troubled, because there was no shepherd.
3 Mine anger was kindled against the shepherds, and I punished the goats: for the Lord of hosts hath visited his flock the house of Judah, and hath made them as his goodly horse in the battle.
4 Out of him came forth the corner, out of him the nail, out of him the battle bow, out of him every oppressor together.
5 And they shall be as mighty men, which tread down their enemies in the mire of the streets in the battle: and they shall fight, because the Lord is with them, and the riders on horses shall be confounded.
6 And I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph, and I will bring them again to place them; for I have mercy upon them: and they shall be as though I had not cast them off: for I am the Lord their God, and will hear them.
7 And they of Ephraim shall be like a mighty man, and their heart shall rejoice as through wine: yea, their children shall see it, and be glad; their heart shall rejoice in the Lord.
8 I will hiss for them, and gather them; for I have redeemed them: and they shall increase as they have increased.
Glory to God. Praise ye the Lord for His mercy endures forever. The Holy Spirit continues to speak blessings upon His people, but He also has turned to the theme “redeemed.” One definition of redeemed is to free from harm. Another definition for redeemed is having been bought back through a costly transaction. Yes, Jesus redeemed us by the shedding His blood on the cross and because we accepted Jesus we now we belong to Him. But that is not all that His blood redeemed us from. His blood also redeemed us from what harms or brings distress in our lives.
Exodus 6:6 says, “I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments.” The redemption package of Jesus also includes redeeming us from evil. It includes redeeming us from burdens, bondages, and what brings us down and not up.
Our text says, “I will hiss for them, and gather them; for I have redeemed them: and they shall increase as they have increased.”
Jesus came to lift His people up. His Word is sent to lift us up and He will not allow the enemy to continue in his path of destruction against our lives. The Holy Spirit knows He has redeemed you, so your well being is His responsibility. So if you are in a period of trials and tests-it will come to the end. For just as He spoke of His people being redeemed in Exodus from their burdens, He loves us just as much and will do the same and even more for us.
The enemy thinks He will be able to continue and continue-but if you just read the first two books of the Bible and nothing else-you will see that is not the nature of God. God does respond to the cries of His people-and He does deliver us. Now, He doesn’t always do it when or how we want it-but He does it His divine way. Today, the Lord is declaring again, He has redeemed you from evil and what hurts you; He declares again-You will increase and your heart will rejoice again!
Prayer:
Father, we thank you for Your love, mercy, and grace. Father, we thank you that You are our God and our redeemer. Lord, whatever troubles us today-remember oh God we are the redeemed of the Lord. Father, come to our rescue as You did the children of Israel. Lord, You declared no more-and we believe You will bring Your no more declaration to completion. Father, loose lifting up angels to lift the heads of Your people. Loose lifting up angels to come against those who cast us down. Father, deal with the shepherds who follow the words of man, and seek not the Holy Spirit to feed the people. Jesus-feed Your flock. Remove every shepherd, every Jeroboam, every wayward priest that is leading your people in falsehood and deceit, and not truth. Oh Lord God, bring them down so You can lift and comfort Your people. For we are the sheep of Your pasture, and you care for us. Now Lord, cover us by the blood of Jesus and keep us safe and sound. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
You are blessed! Go in peace!
Psalm 84:5;7
5 Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them.
7 They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appears before God.
Glory to God. The good things of the Lord are to take us from strength to strength for that is the portion of His people. Regardless of what your situation looks like today, if you're a child of God-in life you go from one strength to another strength. Strength is the opposite of weakness. So even if the obstacle you're in or facing looks as if it's weakening you-it will turn into a strength for His way is only from one strength to another strength.
2 Corinthians 12:9 says, "My grace is sufficient for thee: for My strength is made perfect in weakness." Therefore, in times of weakness, the Lord is only perfecting His strength in you. He's perfecting what is weak to be strong so it fulfills His truth of "They go from strength to strength." In 2023, let's agree with God. Our portion can only be strength to strength. When periods of weakness come-weakness in the job, weakness in body, weakness in situations that look like you will be defeated and be no more-the hand of the Lord your God is only perfecting that weakness to be a strength for you!
Joel 3:10 says, "Let the weak say, I am strong." Can you see clearer now why we say we're strong? It's because the Lord has decreed-you go from strength to strength. Therefore, according to the words of the Lord-from this day forward, I know I'm only going from strength to strength. As I move into 2023, I'm moving into a greater strength. If anything looks weak around me-that's just the Lord's process of perfecting it to be strength and produce the strength, He desires it to be. For it is written, "Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land. Whatever has a form of weakness in your life today, know this-Your God will manifest it as strength before it's all over!
Prayer:
Father, we thank you for all the strength You have provided in 2022. We thank you for the strength of our mind, body, our children, our loved ones. We thank you for the strength You gave to our homes and our homes weren't destroyed or shattered. We thank you for the strength You gave to our vehicles, and how You cover and use them for Your glory. We thank You for the strength You commanded to our finances and all the things You allowed to be stable. Lord, we can't place strength on ourselves, so we trust in Your strength. And since You are our strength-in Jesus name we go from strength to strength for there is no weakness in You. And when You see weakness, You make it into strength, just as you turned darkness to light. So Lord, manifest strength unto Your people and bless Your people with favor and peace as it is written. Pull us out of every net laid privately for us in 2023 and forever. Now Lord, cover us by the blood and keep us safe and sound. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
You are blessed! Go in peace!
