Seek the Lord: His Decree Is Near
2 Chronicles 15:6-7; 12-15
6 And nation was destroyed of nation, and city of city: for God did vex them with all adversity.
7 Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded.
12 And they entered into a covenant to seek the Lord God of their fathers with all their heart and with all their soul;
13 That whosoever would not seek the Lord God of Israel should be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman.
14 And they sware unto the Lord with a loud voice, and with shouting, and with trumpets, and with cornets.
15 And all Judah rejoiced at the oath: for they had sworn with all their heart, and sought him with their whole desire; and he was found of them: and the Lord gave them rest round about.
'Hosea 10:12
Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.

Glory to God. The Lord directed on Friday this is a time to seek the Lord so we will be implementing a fasting day of Wednesday every week. We often say we're seeking the Lord and use the phrase as a cliche-but when God gave the scripture in Hosea 10:12, it was if He opened a curtain because I wasn't hearing what He was saying. He was saying, "No hear what I'm saying. Really hear Me-it is TIME to seek the Lord."
Our text today provides more direction of why He is saying this for God knows what is ahead before we get there. The scripture text starts with "nation was destroyed of nation, and city of city." For this day, I discern it to imply civil unrest. More nations will be fighting each and will be destroyed. Cities that once were will be no more, for they will be destroyed.
But He tells us to be strong, and let not our hands be weak. Keep moving forward, for all these things must be. The Lord will reward your work. And because He's blowing the trumpet saying "It is time to seek the Lord"-He also tells us the danger of not heeding to this warning. He says, "whosoever would not seek the Lord God of Israel should be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman."
He tells us to seek Him so we will live. Death can come in many facets. It can come by earthquakes, floods, disasters, and so many things we aren't even aware of. Therefore, refusal to "seek the Lord" brings us to dangers of some form of death that if we were seeking Him we could avoid it. Beloveds, God's Word is set and He won't change what is written. Remember, He told us last year this scripture from Zephaniah: "Gather yourselves together, yea, gather together, O nation not desired; Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the Lord come upon you, before the day of the Lord's anger come upon you. Seek ye the Lord, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the Lord's anger."
As I was writing this, He brought that warning from last year to my mind, and I had no idea " Seek the Lord" was in it. So last year He told us to gather, before the decree brings forth. He told us then-Seek the Lord. Thus, if we missed it-don't miss it again. Hear the Words of the Lord God who is never wrong. If we fail to abide by this direction, He warns-whether small or great, whether man or woman death and not His life will be the portion.
In Jesus name, let us not think God is not serious about what He is saying. There is a decree that will not be reversed coming to this earth. Let us be found as those who believed what He said.
Prayer:
Father, we thank you. We know as Your children You send Your Word for our good and not evil. You send Your Word so we are saved and we can draw nearer to You in this evil time. Lord, we know not what is to come. Ukraine knew not that suddenly their nation would be thrust into war. Oh Lord God, we are Your people, the sheep of Your pasture-let us turn ourselves to love You with all our heart, soul, and strength. Lord, I know Your Word is true-but I pray for mercy Lord. Mercy Lord over the small and great; mercy Lord over the man and woman. Mercy Lord over those who don't understand the time and think this nation can't be touched. Mercy Lord over our jobs, livelihoods, our bodies, food and drink. Mercy Lord over the cities we reside in. Lord we know what You said, but we also know we can cry for Your mercy. We don't know what is in Your fierce anger but we pray, Oh Lord God have mercy on us, our children, our loved ones, and our churches. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

By this I know that You favor me, because my enemy does not triumph over me.
תהילים מא, יא בזאת אדע כי חפצתך עלי כי לא יגבר אויבי עלי.
Glory to God. The Holy Spirit reveals today an identifying sign of the favor of God and it is the inability for our enemies to triumph over us. Enemies will rise up against us, but because God favors us-that enemy won’t be able to win. In Jesus name I pray you are one God has favored.
תהילה לאל. רוח הקודש מגלה היום סימן מזהה לחסד האל והוא חוסר היכולת של אויבינו לנצח אותנו. אויבים יקומו נגדנו, אך מכיוון שאלוהים חסד אותנו - אויב זה לא יוכל לנצח. בשם ישוע אני מתפלל שאתה אחד שאלוהים חסד.
Now notice, God didn't say the enemy would not come with attacks-but He said when you are favored by God-those attacks will not triumph over you. In life, we will encounter all types of enemies in every facet of life. And whatever enemy you are dealing it today, know, it will use various forms of attacks to discourage you. For when you think you have one door closed-he will start mess through another door. And for some the attack you are dealing with is sickness and others it is financial. For some it is an attack against your children and family, and for others the attacks are more serious than we will ever know. Sometimes the attack that rises up against us are attacks that can change the life and the world. So, the attacks of any enemy is not something to take lightly because whatever the devil is behind, he is stedfast on his mission to steal, kill, and destroy.

But praise be to God our God is on our side. When the enemy attacks, we must stand and fight the good fight of faith. We don’t fight only with natural methods, but children of God fight with spiritual methods as well. If you are under attack, prayer is not an option. Every day you should be praying about the issue and asking God to execute your triumph. You should pray for the Lord to release angels on your behalf and to have mercy. No matter how hard or difficult the attack against you may be, lift up prayers asking God, "Lord continue to favor me and remember your Word to not let the enemy triump over me.”
אבל השבח לאל אלוהינו לצידנו. כאשר האויב תוקף, עלינו לעמוד ולהילחם במאבק הטוב של האמונה. איננו נלחמים רק בשיטות טבעיות, אלא גם ילדי אלוהים נלחמים בשיטות רוחניות. אם אתם מותקפים, תפילה אינה אופציה. כל יום עליכם להתפלל על הנושא ולבקש מאלוהים לבצע את ניצחונכם. עליכם להתפלל שה' ישחרר מלאכים בשמכם וירחם עליכם. לא משנה כמה קשה או קשה ההתקפה נגדכם, התפללו ובקשו מאלוהים, "ה' המשך לחבב אותי וזכור את דברך שלא ייתן לאויב לנצח אותי."
I want you to know that God is not done with His shaking earth. He is still saying and has repeated Himself twice recently by declaring-"Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up." And when He said it again today, I was like-“Lord, aren't we already in war?” However, I know God never misspeaks. If He is still saying prepare-more is on the way and there must be something coming we are still unprepared for. And because we are unprepared, God is holding back His hand. Let us all lift up our voices and cry out to God-Father, please prepare us for what we know not. Father, let us not be caught unaware by the enemy, but let us seek You for wisdom to know how to prepare. Father, please reveal to us what we must do in this time You are calling war. In Jesus name, we call on You, oh God- help us prepare for Lord, we don't know how.

Prayer:
Father, we thank you for favor. Father, in whatever way we aren't prepared for what is coming-reveal it to us Lord. Lord, give us the wisdom to know what to do because You never promised the land would stay the same forever. As You announce the season which is about to change for the world and nations-Lord, please release Your wisdom of what we must do. Lord we cry unto You-we call upon the Name of The Lord for our help is in the Name of the Lord who made heaven and earth. Father, in Jesus name whenever this Word is executed on the earth-let us be prepared and not unprepared. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

Isaiah 50:10
Who is among you that feareth the LORD, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? let him trust in the name of the LORD, and stay upon his God.
ישעיהו נ', י' מי בכם ירא את ה', אשר שומע בקול עבדו, אשר הולך בחושך ואין אור לו? יבטח בשם ה' ואל אלהיו ישען.
Glory to God. Again, we must not backslide and return to the side of darkness and what God has brought us from. And you may think I'm just saying this, but I believe our nation is about to go through a traumatic time and we must be with God as were in 2020. However, God comes today saying-He knows you fear Him, and if you feel like you are walking in darkness again with no light, hear this Word. "Let him trust in the name of the LORD, and stay upon his God."
תהילה לאל. שוב, אסור לנו לסגת ולחזור לצד החושך ולצד שממנו אלוהים הוציא אותנו. ואתם אולי חושבים שאני רק אומר את זה, אבל אני מאמין שהאומה שלנו עומדת לעבור תקופה טראומטית ועלינו להיות עם אלוהים כפי שהיינו בשנת 2020. עם זאת, אלוהים בא היום ואומר - הוא יודע שאתם יראי אותו, ואם אתם מרגישים שאתם הולכים שוב בחושך ללא אור, שמעו את המילה הזו. "יבטח בשם ה', ועל אלוהיו ישען".
As believers, we must avoid backsliding where we find ourselves walking in darkness with no light. And you will know when you enter that phase because the Holy Spirit will convict your heart that you are walking out of the way. Please pay attention to the convicting power of the Holy Spirit, and heed to His Words. Continue to trust in the name of the Lord and stay upon God. Don't allow the circumstances of darkness to turn you away from Him. For God told us in Isaiah 60:2, "Behold the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and His glory shall be seen upon thee."
כמאמינים, עלינו להימנע מסגתנו שבה אנו מוצאים את עצמנו הולכים בחושך ללא אור. ותדעו כשתיכנסו לשלב זה, כי רוח הקודש תשכנע את לבכם שאתם סוטים מהדרך. אנא שימו לב לכוחו המרשיע של רוח הקודש, והקשיבו לדבריו. המשיכו לבטוח בשם ה' והישענו על אלוהים. אל תתנו לנסיבות החושך להרחיק אתכם ממנו. כי אלוהים אמר לנו בישעיהו ס', ב': "הנה חושך יכסה ארץ, וחושך עבות את העמים; ויזרח עליך ה', וכבודו ייראה עליך".
So where do you think we will be when darkness covers the earth? Where do you think we will be when the gross darkness covers the people? If we haven't gone to be with the Lord, we will be living on earth among the darkness and gross darkness.
אז איפה לדעתכם נהיה כשחושך יכסה את הארץ? איפה לדעתכם נהיה כשחושך כבד יכסה את האנשים? אם לא הלכנו להיות עם ה', נחיה עלי אדמות בתוך החושך והחושך הכבד.
Yes, circumstances will come where although you are the righteous you will experience darkness in the circumstances. And for a little while-the light of God will be hidden. But don't lose your faith. For the darkness will cover every area: the lands, the jobs, the food, the water, the resources, and all that is active on the earth. Even now, the waters of the rivers are receding to very low levels, and food shortages are increasing. People will not be as they have been before, because the gross darkness the Lord said was coming will cover them. People will do things to you, say things to you, and you will be like, Lord why? It is because the gross darkness has begun. And this is a prophetic utterance from God so we can't pray this time away. It must come to pass. But God tells you what to do: you just continue to trust in the name of the Lord as we did in 2020, and stay upon your God!
כן, יגיעו נסיבות שבהן, למרות שאתם צדיקים, תחוו חושך בנסיבות אלו. ולזמן קצר - אור אלוהים יהיה מוסתר. אך אל תאבדו את אמונתכם. כי החושך יכסה כל אזור: את האדמות, את העבודות, את המזון, את המים, את המשאבים ואת כל מה שפעיל על פני האדמה. אפילו עכשיו, מי הנהרות נסוגים לרמות נמוכות מאוד, ומחסור המזון גובר. אנשים לא יהיו כפי שהיו בעבר, כי החושך הכבד שה' אמר שיבוא יכסה אותם. אנשים יעשו לכם דברים, יגידו לכם דברים, ואתם תשאלו, אלוהים, למה? זה בגלל שהחושך הכבד התחיל. וזו אמירה נבואית מאלוהים, ולכן איננו יכולים להתפלל הפעם. זה חייב לקרות. אבל אלוהים אומר לכם מה לעשות: אתם פשוט ממשיכים לבטוח בשם ה' כפי שעשינו בשנת 2020, ותישארו באלוהיכם!
The Lord sent this Word to you from Isaiah 41:10-13: Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish. Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought. For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.
ה' שלח לכם את הדבר הזה מישעיהו מ"א, 10-13: אל תירא כי אני עמך אל תירא כי אני אלוהיך אחזקך וגם אעזרך וגם בימין צדקי אשמור אותך הנה כל אשר זעמו עליך יתביישו ויתבלמו היו לאין והריבים איתך יאבדו תבקשם ולא תמצאם גם הריבים איתך היו לאין ולאין כי אני ה' אלוהיך אחזק ימינך לאמור לך אל תירא אני אעזרך
Remember the words of King David for you are the righteous. It is written in Psalm 37:25, "I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread." God is with you and He loves you. All the devotions are His fighting for us not to go back to darkness for He desires to save us forever, not just for a little while. In Jesus name your staying upon God will not be forsaken!
זכרו את דברי דוד המלך כי אתם צדיקים. כתוב בתהילים ל"ז, כ"ה: "נער הייתי ועתה זקן; ולא ראיתי צדיק נעזב, וזרעו מבקש לחם". אלוהים עמכם והוא אוהב אתכם. כל התפילות הן לחימתו למעננו לא נחזור לחושך כי הוא חפץ להושיע אותנו לנצח, לא רק לזמן קצר. בשם ישוע, לא תיעזב עמכם באלוהים!
Prayer:
Father, we thank you for letting us know-you will help us! Thank you for Your encouraging words. Lord, we lift up prayers for this nation. Whatever is about to come we know You will be with us. Lord, for all of us who have plans this month-let our plans go forth without hinderance. Bless our plans; bless our food and bless our water. Bless our homes, vehicles, and all that concerns us. Everywhere we go, let us pass safely. Bind plagues and evil diseases from us. Bind attacks against infrastructure that concerns us. Bind fires near homes and at our homes. Bind floods and flooding from coming nigh our dwelling and the roads we travel. Bind mass shootings and evil attacks near us and be merciful. We trust Your hand is holding our right hand and we will be helped. In Jesus name we ask and pray-Amen.

1 Now the children of Israel after their number, to wit, the chief fathers and captains of thousands and hundreds, and their officers that served the king in any matter of the courses, which came in and went out month by month throughout all the months of the year, of every course were twenty and four thousand.
2 Over the first course for the first month was Jashobeam the son of Zabdiel: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
3 Of the children of Perez was the chief of all the captains of the host for the first month.
4 And over the course of the second month was Dodai an Ahohite, and of his course was Mikloth also the ruler: in his course likewise were twenty and four thousand.
5 The third captain of the host for the third month was Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, a chief priest: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
6 This is that Benaiah, who was mighty among the thirty, and above the thirty: and in his course was Ammizabad his son.
7 The fourth captain for the fourth month was Asahel the brother of Joab, and Zebadiah his son after him: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
8 The fifth captain for the fifth month was Shamhuth the Izrahite: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
9 The sixth captain for the sixth month was Ira the son of Ikkesh the Tekoite: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
10 The seventh captain for the seventh month was Helez the Pelonite, of the children of Ephraim: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
15 The twelfth captain for the twelfth month was Heldai the Netophathite, of Othniel: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.

I’ve always said, God is a real-time God and He is watching the affairs of men as they unfold on earth. And in His love, He sends this story today from the life of King David. Now King David was not only a mighty king, but he was someone whom God gave knowledge and strategy for his times. For during the reign of David, God's people were faced with many wars and the Bible records how King David built an army and made it successful. And David didn't wait until the time of unrest to structure the warriors, but long before a time of trouble, he had implemented a system so his army wouldn't experience burn out. And you know what? God recorded the system David built in the Word of God.

In our text we see a snapshot of that system and if you read the book of 1 Chronicles you can learn even more. For in this chapter we learn that David assigned captains and a number of soldiers to be on duty each month. The number was twenty-four thousand per month, and God specifically listed every captain in charge for each month. And while those were on duty, the others were either with their families or doing other things as assigned, but each month-the twenty-four thousand were rotated in and out.
בטקסט שלנו אנו רואים תמונת מצב של מערכת זו, ואם תקראו את ספר דברי הימים א' תוכלו ללמוד עוד יותר. כי בפרק זה אנו למדים שדוד מינה קפטנים ומספר חיילים להיות בתפקיד בכל חודש. המספר היה עשרים וארבעה אלף לחודש, ואלוהים מנה במפורש כל קפטן אחראי לכל חודש. ובזמן שאלה היו בתפקיד, האחרים היו או עם משפחותיהם או עשו דברים אחרים כפי שהוטלו, אך בכל חודש - עשרים וארבעה אלף - נכנסו ויצאו בתורנות.
Now because David was a praying man, God gave Him the wisdom and structure of how to align the troops. And we may think that God's way wouldn't work in our day, but that is because we forget God is involved in the affairs on earth. 2 Timothy 3:16 says, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.” The scriptures in our Bible is not just for learning about God, but they are also for instruction in righteousness or the right way that God advises us to go in a matter. And when we follow the Word or use the Word of God as our guide-,why would the Lord punish us instead of reward us? No! There is victory in applying the wisdom and principles of God for the heart of God desires for us to be victorious in all our doings.
כעת, מכיוון שדוד היה מתפלל, אלוהים נתן לו את החוכמה והמבנה כיצד ליישר את כוחותיו. ואנחנו אולי חושבים שדרך אלוהים לא תעבוד בימינו, אבל זה בגלל שאנחנו שוכחים שאלוהים מעורב בעניינים על פני האדמה. טימותיאוס ב' ג' 16 אומר, "כל הכתוב נכתב בהשראת אלוהים, והוא מועיל לתורה, לתוכחה, לתיקון, להוראה בצדקה". הכתובים בתנ"ך שלנו אינם רק ללמידה על אלוהים, אלא הם גם להוראה בצדקה או בדרך הנכונה שאלוהים מייעץ לנו ללכת בה בעניין. וכאשר אנו הולכים אחר דבר האל או משתמשים בדבר האל כמדריך שלנו - מדוע שה' יעניש אותנו במקום לגמול לנו? לא! יש ניצחון ביישום חוכמתו ועקרונותיו של אלוהים, כי ליבו של אלוהים חפץ שננצח בכל מעשינו.
Therefore, we can avoid pressures, confusions, and sorrows that God never designed for us to have if we seek to know the way God has instructed for His ways are the way. His ways is the wisdom from above which is higher than any form of earthly wisdom. For Proverbs 3:13-15 says of God’s wisdom, “Happy is the man that finds wisdom, and the man that gets understanding. For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold. She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou can desire are not to be compared unto her.” In Jesus name, let us receive the wisdom God is sending today and go even further to ask the Lord to give us wisdom for all the situations of our lives so sorrow will not be our portion.
לכן, נוכל להימנע מלחצים, בלבולים וצער שאלוהים מעולם לא תכנן עבורנו אם נבקש לדעת את הדרך שאלוהים הורה, כי דרכיו הן הדרך. דרכיו הן החוכמה מלמעלה, שהיא גבוהה מכל צורה של חוכמה ארצית. כי משלי ג' 13-15 אומרים על חוכמת האל: "אשרי איש מוצא חכמה, ואיש משיג בינה. כי טוב סחורתה מסחורת כסף, ורווחיה מזהב טוב. יקרה היא מאבני אודם, וכל חפצך לא ישוו לה." בשם ישוע, הבה נקבל את החוכמה שאלוהים שולח היום ונלך רחוק יותר ולבקש מה' לתת לנו חוכמה לכל מצבי חיינו, כדי שצער לא יהיה חלקנו.
Prayer:
Father, help us locate and apply Your wisdom in all situations for in Your wisdom is victory. Lord, we don't desire to simply live and survive, but we desire to be happy. We desire for the soldiers and all who fight the battles of the Lord to be happy. Thus, help us, oh God , and as we cry to You-release the strategies that will help us come near Your ways. For whenever You see anyone following or applying Your guidance, we know Your presence will go with them. Lord, all the days of our lives-let Your presence go with us. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
