כי לא אל חפץ רשע אתה לא יגרך רע׃

6. Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the LORD will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.

תאבד דברי כזב איש דמים ומרמה יתעב יהוה׃

5. The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.

לא יתיצבו הוללים לנגד עיניך שנאת כל פעלי און׃

7. But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.

8. Lead me, O LORD, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way straight before my face.

יהוה נחני בצדקתך למען שוררי הושר לפני דרכך׃

9. For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue.

כי אין בפיהו נכונה קרבם הוות קבר פתוח גרונם לשונם יחליקון׃

10. Destroy thou them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against thee.

האשימם אלהים יפלו ממעצותיהם ברב פשעיהם הדיחמו כי מרו בך׃

11. But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.

וישמחו כל חוסי בך לעולם ירננו ותסך עלימו ויעלצו בך אהבי שמך׃

12. For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.

כי אתה תברך צדיק יהוה כצנה רצון תעטרנו׃

Glory to God. As we enter a new month-we enter in with favor! In our showers of blessings promise, I don't know if you remember but it started with God affirming His covenant of peace. Peace is a benefit from God for His children, and He's made it His business to ensure that you lay down in peace and dwell in safety. So, it's your God given right to "dwell in safety" not just "live" in safety and it is a component of His divine protection. The Holy Spirit is spending time calm your spirits and let you know what He will do for you. Now, this may not be the portion of others; but for You, He's given you His Word: You will dwell in safety and forever have His divine protection. Why? For the Lord ONLY decides who will be safe or not, and He's decided: You will dwell in His safety.

But not only will you be safe, He gives you another promise. If trouble arises, He's taken it upon Himself to defend you. Now, that's a benefit money can't buy for we have no idea all the ways God defends. But when it comes to your defense-because you're His child and His chosen-He has promised to defend you. Verse 11 of Psalm 5 says, "But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice! Let them shout for joy because Thou defends them!" And verse 12 goes on to say, "The Lord will bless the righteous; with favor will Thou compass Him as with a shield." To compass means to surround so the Lord has surrounded you like a shield.

Prayer:

Father, we thank you for You alone make us to dwell in safety. We thank you for Your divine protection and tender mercies to us, and those we love. In this new month, Lord lift up the light of Your countenance upon us. Put gladness in our hearts and let us be joyful in You. Father, we thank you that You have blessed the righteous; we thank you that as a shield You surround us wherever we are. Oh Lord God, we decree the angel of the Lord deals everything evil that is coming against us. We decree whatever evil has followed us where we are now, it will not return with us. Lord, any form of imperfection and deceit in our lives, our body, soul, or spirit-Father, correct it. We decree, let all the workers of iniquity depart from us, and let all our enemies be ashamed and sorely vexed. Let them return and be ashamed suddenly. For in You do we put our trust. Cut off all who come toward us to threaten our safety, and save and deliver us from all who persecute our soul. Let Your favor be upon us and compass us with Your shield. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

Be Merciful and Stop The Violence Against Thy Brother היה רחום והפסק את האלימות

Obadiah 1:8-15

8. Shall I not in that day, saith the LORD, even destroy the wise men out of Edom, and understanding out of the mount of Esau?

9. And thy mighty men, O Teman, shall be dismayed, to the end that every one of the mount of Esau may be cut off by slaughter.

10. For thy violence against thy brother Jacob shame shall cover thee, and thou shalt be cut off for ever.

מחמס אחיך יעקב תכסך בושה ונכרת לעולם׃

11. In the day that thou stoodest on the other side, in the day that the strangers carried away captive his forces, and foreigners entered into his gates, and cast lots upon Jerusalem, even thou wast as one of them.

ביום עמדך מנגד ביום שבות זרים חילו ונכרים באו שערו ועל ירושלם ידו גורל גם אתה כאחד מהם׃

12. But thou shouldest not have looked on the day of thy brother in the day that he became a stranger; neither shouldest thou have rejoiced over the children of Judah in the day of their destruction; neither shouldest thou have spoken proudly in the day of distress.

ואל תרא ביום אחיך ביום נכרו ואל תשמח לבני יהודה ביום אבדם ואל תגדל פיך ביום צרה׃

13. Thou shouldest not have entered into the gate of my people in the day of their calamity; yea, thou shouldest not have looked on their affliction in the day of their calamity, nor have laid hands on their substance in the day of their calamity;

אל תבוא בשער עמי ביום אידם אל תרא גם אתה ברעתו ביום אידו ואל תשלחנה בחילו ביום אידו׃

14. Neither shouldest thou have stood in the crossway, to cut off those of his that did escape; neither shouldest thou have delivered up those of his that did remain in the day of distress.

ואל תעמד על הפרק להכרית את פליטיו ואל תסגר שרידיו ביום צרה׃

15. For the day of the LORD is near upon all the heathen: as thou hast done, it shall be done unto thee: thy reward shall return upon thine own head.

16. For as ye have drunk upon my holy mountain, so shall all the heathen drink continually, yea, they shall drink, and they shall swallow down, and they shall be as though they had not been.

כי כאשר שתיתם על הר קדשי ישתו כל הגוים תמיד ושתו ולעו והיו כלוא היו׃

17. But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.

ובהר ציון תהיה פליטה והיה קדש וירשו בית יעקב את מורשיהם׃כי קרוב יום יהוה על כל הגוים

כאשר עשית יעשה לך גמלך ישוב בראשך׃

Glory to God. Violence shows up early in the Word of God, and to be precise it was in the very first book of Genesis. It manifested itself in the beginning chapters and we read about how Cain killed his brother Abel, and sadly it has continued ever since. So the devil didn't waste time starting his evil on the earth through a cycle of violence. And by Genesis 6, God said the earth was filled with violence.

We must know evil violence is not something God will allow to go unchecked without judgment returning on the heads of those doing the violence. As I have told you before, violence comes from the root word violent. A violent person is a person who intentionally causes damage, injury, or death to another often using any form of force without it being for self defense. And violence can go beyond physical violence for a person can be apply violence in any way that involves damage, injury, or harm to another person. Someone can be violent to you without touching you by the way they talk to you, treat you, or apply pressure so you can't rise or succeed. Also laws and decisions can go forth that bring violence to the lives of others and you didn't touch them physically with hands.

In our text, the Holy Spirit reminds us of what is written. He says, "You should not have looked on their affliction in the day of their calamity, nor have laid hands on their substance in the day of their calamity." You know beloveds, food is a substance God provides people in whatever manner He decides they shall have it. For He feeds the birds one way, but He feeds the lions and bears a different way. And He feeds people differently than He feeds animals. My point is He has His own way of making sure every one the earth eats and when we intentionally begin to touch how God feeds another person-it is a form of violence in His eyes for you have laid hands on their substance.

So we must ask, are sowing another seed of judgment in this nation when we have no regard for those whose food supply that GOD supplied for them is touched? For God tells us loud and clear...You should not have done this. Never forget, God has a way of switching seats. He has a way of what you do to others, to make it come back on you. For Jesus warned us in Luke 6:31, "As ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise." And He also said, You will reap what you sow. Therefore, if we as a nation sow cutting off people's food supply, cutting off livelihoods, and their income God has given them for their labor-every participant who did it to others, God will reverse it on their heads.

Power is given by God, but you better be careful how you use it. For they may have power today, but power can change hands. Some may be able to apply unjust violence on others, but that same level of violence or even worse will return to their house if they don't pray for forgiveness. They may have power to take food away from someone today, but there will come a day they will feel what it feels like not to have food. A day will come to their house where their food supply is hindered. For God has many ways to bring something to pass. He can allow a hurricane or a winter storm where even the wealthiest people can't even access the food they have. Meditate on that.

The Lord God has millions of ways to return what has been done to others to their own heads. Thus, I strongly advise us as a nation to be merciful for you will also need the mercy of God very soon. I strongly advise we don't forget the fires that ravaged through the land earlier this year, and one day many had homes, and the next day they had nothing but the clothes on their backs. And they were forced to live on the mercy of others. Never forget after we do all we desire in the land-there is a God who has a hand as well, and you don't ever want that hand to come upon you for the violence you have done to another. God does have the power to switch seats and make you sit in the seat of those you have oppressed. Be merciful.

Prayer:

Father, see and answer for all the violence that has been done against Your people, the afflicted and distressed. Father, when men refuse food to the hungry-Father, rise above them and feed them. When men refuse to give what is due for their labor-Father, enter the situation. Father, loose Your judgment against the violence and the violent in the earth no matter who they are. We pray, let not one escape Your hand. Loose Your angels all across the earth to judge the violence and return us to rest all around. Lord, be merciful to the people and be merciful to us. And let us always remember to find a way to be merciful even in difficult situations for You have spoken in Luke 6:36, Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. So in our interactions, let us be merciful to our brothers, sisters, spouses, friends, and even strangers we don't know. Give us all the wisdom of how to apply mercy even in difficult times and situations. For there will come a day we too will need Your mercy and we pray that You remember we were merciful. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

Psalms 118:1-9

1. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever.

הודו ליהוה כי טוב כי לעולם חסדו׃

2. Let Israel now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.

יאמר נא ישראל כי לעולם חסדו׃

3. Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.

יאמרו נא בית אהרן כי לעולם חסדו׃

4. Let them now that fear the LORD say, that his mercy endureth for ever.

יאמרו נא יראי יהוה כי לעולם חסדו׃

5. I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me, and set me in a large place.

מן המצר קראתי יה ענני במרחב יה׃

6. The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?

יהוה לי לא אירא מה יעשה לי אדם׃

7. The LORD taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me.

There Is No Peace To The Wicked

אין שלום לרשעים

Isaiah 57:19-21

ישעיהו נ"ז: 19-21

19 I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, saith the LORD; and I will heal him.

20 But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt.

21 There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.

19 אני בורא פרי שפתים שלום שלום לרחוק ולקרוב נאם ה' וארפאנו. 20 ורשעים כמות ים סוער אשר לא יוכל לנוחמימיו מטילים טיט ועפר. 21 אין שלום נאם אלהי לרשעים.

Glory to God. Our God is the God of all peace for He is the Prince of peace. This reveals that if there is to be any peace anywhere-God ordains it. He has given His people a covenant of peace which tells us we can have peace, but it doesn't necessarily mean all will have peace because the Word clearly says- There is no peace for the wicked. Therefore, God holds the rights to peace and when His conditions are met-His will is for there to be peace on earth and goodwill toward all men. However, we must always be mindful that His requirements must be met, one of which is to refrain from being wicked.

Knowing this, we can search the scriptures to equip ourselves with knowledge of what God's definition of "wicked" is. For if we know what His definition of wicked is, and what types of wickedness impacts His peace-it can provide insight which direction anything is headed.

In the land, we will hear declarations of peace, but has the land refrained from being wicked? For iIsaiah 59:6-8 reveals things that the land cannot do and maintain the peace of God. It says, "Their works are works of iniquity, and the act of violence is in their hands. Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood: their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths. The way of peace they know not; and there is no judgment in their goings: they have made them crooked paths: whosoever goeth therein shall not know peace."

בארץ נשמע הצהרות שלום, אך האם הארץ נמנעה מלהיות רעה? כי ישעיהו נט, ו-ח מגלה דברים שהארץ אינה יכולהלעשות ולשמור על שלום אלוהים. נאמר שם: "מעשיהם מעשי עון, ומעשה חמס בידיהם. רגליהם רצות לרע, ודם נקיממהרים לשפוך. מחשבותיהם מחשבות עון, חרב והרס בנתיבותיהם. דרך שלום לא ידעו, ואין משפט במלכותם. נתיבות עקלו אותם, כל הלך בה לא ידע שלום".

When any place continues in violence and continues to take away the peace God has given to those not causing trouble-God help us. For it will only be a matter of time before God will remove His peace from the oppressor. When any place disturbs the God given peace the Lord has given anyone-it will only be a matter of time before God will require the same recompense on their heads.

כאשר מקום כלשהו ממשיך באלימות וממשיך לקחת את השלום שאלוהים נתן לאלה שאינם גורמים צרות - אלוהיםיעזור לנו. כי זו רק שאלה של זמן עד שאלוהים יסיר את שלוותו מהמדכא. כאשר מקום כלשהו מפר את השלום שנתןאלוהים למישהו - זו רק שאלה של זמן עד שאלוהים ידרוש את אותו גמול מראשו.

As believers, stay in peace and keep your house from being wicked. For the land is sowing a judgment that God will respond to because it is disturbing the God-given peace of so many people. God is a God of mercy, and it is only because of His mercy that we reside in this place. God, the Watcher, spoke of Nebuchadnezzar this morning to remind us what He did then. He told this king then, "The Most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomsoever He will, and sets up over it the basest of men."

כמאמינים, הישארו בשלום ושמרו על ביתכם מלהיות רשע. כי הארץ זורעת משפט שאלוהים יגיב לו משום שהוא מפריעלשלום האל שניתן להם כה רבים. אלוהים הוא אל רחמים, ורק בזכות רחמיו אנו גרים במקום הזה. אלוהים, הצופה, דיבר על נבוכדנצר הבוקר כדי להזכיר לנו מה עשה אז. הוא אמר אז למלך זה, "העליון מושל בממלכת האדם, ונותנהלאשר יחפוץ, ומקים עליה את הפילוטים שבאדם".

In Jesus name, may God keep us as the righteous and not the wicked! For if we ever fall into the category of the wicked-the scripture cannot be broken. God has decreed forever, "There is no peace to the wicked." In Jesus name you will never be wicked in the eyes of your God.

בשם ישוע, מי ייתן ואלוהים ישמור אותנו כצדיקים ולא רשעים! כי אם אי פעם ניפול לקטגוריה של רשעים - הכתובים לאיופרו. אלוהים גזר לנצח, "אין שלום לרשעים". בשם ישוע לעולם לא תהיה רשע בעיני אלוהיך.

Prayer:

Father, we thank you for the covenant of peace in our lives and we ask You to help us maintain Your peace forever. Father, move this nation back to mercy and righteousness, so Your peace will return to peaceful living conditions. You told us to pray for the peace of our city so we can have peace. Father, if our city has lost Your peace-Father, we pray restore Your peace and return the city to rest. Father, all who come to disturb the covenant of peace You have given Your people-deal with them. We speak in Jesus name-peace and righteousness in our lives; peace and righteousness in our cities. Holy Spirit, in the Name of the Lord-Open the gates of righteousness all around us and lead people to the One and only Savior, Jesus Christ. May the Lord God be lifted up in our cities, and may all the works of the devil be casted down to the ground and not rise up again. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

Deuteronomy 5:29-33

29. O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!

מי יתן והיה לבבם זה להם ליראה אתי ולשמר את כל מצותי כל הימים למען ייטב להם ולבניהם לעלם׃

30. Go say to them, Get you into your tents again.

לך אמר להם שובו לכם לאהליכם׃

31. But as for thee, stand thou here by me, and I will speak unto thee all the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which thou shalt teach them, that they may do them in the land which I give them to possess it.

ואתה פה עמד עמדי ואדברה אליך את כל המצוה והחקים והמשפטים אשר תלמדם ועשו בארץ אשר אנכי נתן להםלרשתה׃

32. Ye shall observe to do therefore as the LORD your God hath commanded you: ye shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left.

ושמרתם לעשות כאשר צוה יהוה אלהיכם אתכם לא תסרו ימין ושמאל׃

33. Ye shall walk in all the ways which the LORD your God hath commanded you, that ye may live, and that it may be well with you, and that ye may prolong your days in the land which ye shall possess.

בכל הדרך אשר צוה יהוה אלהיכם אתכם תלכו למען תחיון וטוב לכם והארכתם ימים בארץ אשר

תירשון׃

Glory to God. We praise the Lord our God that He decreed graced to enter the ninth month! But not only has He allowed us to enter this month, but we entered it with a Word of "favor". Therefore, let us not take His Word of favor for granted because the Word speaks that He can render no favor. Isaiah 27:11 says, "For it is a people of no understanding: therefore He that made them will not have mercy on them, and He that formed them will show them no favor." In Jesus name this is not your portion for God has spoken favor over you. However, this verse tells us the favor of the Lord is something He decides to grant because His eyes are upon you and you have found grace in His sight.

Nevertheless, if favor can be given-it can also be taken away. Thus, the Holy Spirit takes us to Deuteronomy to receive words He spoke long ago. These are words of wisdom and instruction to govern our lives to maintain His blessings of favor. And when Jesus came, He also proclaimed the same message to fear the Lord and obey His commandments. Jesus never changed His Words, but with Jesus He extended grace when we don't do as we should. We all are recipients of the grace of God which allows time for us to get it together.

The Word of the Lord speaks today saying, "O that there were such a heart in them, that they would fear Me, and keep all My commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!" Here again, we see an instruction to fear God. It is God in essence telling us, "Be wise, and do what Your Maker tells you to do."

דבר ה' אומר היום: "לואי היה לב כזה בהם, כי יראו אותי, ושמרו את כלמצותיי כל הימים, למען ייטב להם ולבניהם עד עולם!" כאן שוב, אנורואים הוראה ליראה את אלוהים. אלוהים הוא למעשה האומר לנו: "היהחכם, ועשה את אשר יאמר לך בוראיך".

God places people in charge of things on earth and we are seeing now what a person in charge can do with their power. Well, God is greater than any human being and He gave the breath that keeps us alive. He and He alone decides every moment who will live to breathe the next breath. And knowing this, will not we fear Him? Will we refuse to respect His power? We should fear Him because we know He is the one who keeps us alive; He is the one who keeps us safe and sound; and He is the one perfects all that concerns us.

So He pleads with us, "O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear Me, and keep all My commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!" In Jesus name may we receive the heart that will always reverence God as God.

אז הוא מתחנן בפנינו, "לו היה בהם לב כזה כי יראו אותי ושמרו את כלמצותיי תמיד למען ייטב להם ולבניהם עד עולם!" בשם ישוע הבה נקבלאת הלב שיירא תמיד את אלוהים כאלוהים.

Prayer:

Father, You are our shepherd therefore we shall not want. Lord, let us not make anything else the shepherd and keeper over our lives. And because You are our shepherd-we ask, Father, give us the heart to fear You. Father, release in us the heart to learn and keep Your commandments always so Your favor over our lives will remain. Lord, turn our lives in Your right direction and help us to do Your right will and not our will. Let us never forget You Lord for You are the One who makes all things well. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
