For Thine Is The Kingdom, The Power, and The Glory
Joel 3:9-16
9 Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up:
Jeremiah 4:6-10
6 Set up the standard toward Zion: retire, stay not: for I will bring evil from the north, and a great destruction.
7 The lion is come up from his thicket, and the destroyer of the Gentiles is on his way; he is gone forth from his place to make thy land desolate; and thy cities shall be laid waste, without an inhabitant.
8 For this gird you with sackcloth, lament and howl: for the fierce anger of the Lord is not turned back from us.
9 And it shall come to pass at that day, saith the Lord, that the heart of the king shall perish, and the heart of the princes; and the priests shall be astonished, and the prophets shall wonder.
10 Then said I, Ah, Lord God! surely thou hast greatly deceived this people and Jerusalem, saying, Ye shall have peace; whereas the sword reacheth unto the soul.
Glory to God. Hear the Word of the Lord this morning. If you’ve been reading the devotions this week, you see the Lord warns there is more to come. For quite a while He has spoken of something coming from the north, and I told you I don’t know who the north is. But He says again, “I will bring evil from the north, and a great destruction.” Then He warns the Gentiles again, not the Jews-the destroyer of the Gentiles is on his way.
This Word was given after the October 7, 2023 war started. You know, the Lord will allow people to serve whatever god they choose, and live in peace. But He is a God of rules, and the rule is to touch not His anointed, and do His prophets no harm. His rule in the garden was you can eat of all trees, except one. But one mistake against His rule in the garden, changed humanity for ever and these were His people who broke the rule. His rule for the Holy land is Numbers 24:9, “He couched, he lay down as a lion, and as a great lion: who shall stir him up? Blessed is he that blesseth thee, and cursed is he that curseth thee.” The Word warns, Israel is a great lion-do not stir this lion up because the lion in them is the Lord. And one wrong act by evil people can cause destruction on thousands of innocent people, just as one act of evil here, such as mass shootings, inflicts destruction upon many innocent lives.
God told us it was an evil time and He has given instruction all this year on what to do. But hear the Word He is sending today. His warnings are still coming, and He tells us what is on the way for the Gentiles. We now add Israel and Gaza to the equation of wars and rumors of wars. Last week on Friday, the people were safe, sound, and had no war. But this week on Friday-they are dealing with the unimaginable: bloodshed; destruction all around; and for many-pure hell. My heart is saddened for all involved, for if the rule of God was not broken a resemblance of peace, their portion, would stand. But one evil person, can destroy the lives of many.
I heard a saying from the military that says, “If you break it, you have bought it.” Meaning, you can buy more than you know when you break the peace God has provided a nation, a city, a place, or even a family. Hear the Words of the Lord from this text today and if He wasn’t lying about what He said last week, He isn’t lying today.
Prayer:
Father, we thank you for Your goodness and mercy. For we know You promised, “I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.” We know You are of great kindness, and destruction doesn’t come to everyone. In Your own way, You know how to spare, rescue, and send angels to those You choose to have mercy and compassion on no matter who they are, or what god they serve.
Lord God, cover us by the blood of Jesus. Cover our children, our cities, homes, and all that concerns us. We pray for this nation, and we pray for Your mercy and compassion upon it. Father, let souls be saved and changed from this event. Lord, your Word has never failed to let Your people go. And since the enemy has refused to let Your people go, this world will be shaken by the hand of the Lord. But you, oh God will be the hope of Your people. Father, I pray we don’t wake up to war in the morning, but if that is our portion-remember You promised that from this day forward we will be blessed. Now Lord, cover us by the blood of Jesus for if You don’t cover us we can’t be covered. Remember your portion of mercy to those You have ordained to escape. We rely on You for our help, our strength, and our safety. Let Thy kingdom come; Let Thy will be done-for Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory-forever Amen.

Prepare for War
Joel 3:9-16
9 Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up:
10 Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.
11 Assemble yourselves, and come, all ye heathen, and gather yourselves together round about: thither cause thy mighty ones to come down, O Lord.
12 Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about.
13 Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great.
14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision.
15 The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.
16 The Lord also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the Lord will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.
Glory to God. Thanks be to the Lord our God who always causes us to triumph. We praise Him for gathering us again to appear before His presence. For quite some time, the Lord has spoken of a shaking coming to the land. And I have no idea of His set or appointed time for the things He speaks for I understand God is merciful and long-suffering to the children of men. We desire a quick judgment from the Lord, but the Lord knows what’s on the other side of His judgment, and for many it is a point of no return. God knows once some leaves this earth and they aren’t saved-a billion years from now they will still be in the place of torment reserved for sinners. Meditate on that for without God, the best chance most have is to stay alive until someones introduces them to Jesus. For whatever we envision hell is like, I know it’s a thousand times greater than we can imagine. In Jesus name, I pray no one reading this devotion will go to hell.
Our text today takes another shift where the Holy Spirit says, “Prepare for war.” He doesn’t say where or when, but prepare. However, let me provide background to the last season He gave this text. He began speaking this same Word in early 2019, and He spoke it until 2021. Since that time, He has been silent. He has not selected this text since mid 2021, but war did breakout in the world shortly after.
Please know, God will not tolerate the disrespect of the world and this text provides a very clear picture of where He is headed and who He is angry with for He clearly identifies the heathen. But who is He saying to prepare for war this time? What nation is He warning-prepare for war? I don’t know beloveds, but what I do know is when war comes-everything changes. The land is invaded by those you thought you had protection from. What you own-can be destroyed without notice and is owned no more. People are suddenly uprooted from their home and jobs, or captured and forced to live in places they know not of. In war, a nation runs on the adrenaline of simply trying to defend their ground to remain a nation. So, we really don’t want the Lord to say these words because war is not a place any nation desires for all lands desires His peace.
However, as He proclaims one thing-He tells His people "the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the Lord will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel." I pray, this warning is not for our nation, for war can also be civil war which is a war from within. But whatever or whomever it is for-He has declared He will be the hope of His people.
Wars are not new. Wars have been going on since the book of Genesis, but through them all-God failed not to be the hope of His people. Genesis 14 says, “And it came to pass in the days of Amraphel king of Shinar, Arioch king of Ellasar, Chedorlaomer king of Elam, and Tidal king of nations;That these made war with Bera king of Sodom, and with Birsha king of Gomorrah, Shinab king of Admah, and Shemeber king of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela, which is Zoar.” So war will always be a possibility until Jesus Christ returns. But we know these things must come to pass as Jesus told us. Matthew 24:6 says, “And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.” And if the Lord God brought Abraham and his family through periods of war and famine and they were not harmed, surely the same God will keep us as He has done since the beginning of time. He will be the hope of His people and the strength of Israel!
Prayer:
Father, where you lead us, we will follow. For who are we to instruct You in the way You should go and how You shall order the world? Lord, we humbly bow before You praying-Let thy Kingdom come; let Thy will be done. Father, if we aren’t close to You-let us come closer; if we aren’t obedient-let us obey. For things are breaking out in places we go for pleasure left and right. Your strange acts are breaking forth like never before. In Jesus name, let us stay under the shadow of Your wings, Almighty God. Let us hear from You, and take heed to our spirits when we don’t feel Your peace as we venture out. For You have been a wonderful keeper over our lives. Through the good and the bad-You have been a wonderful and marvelous keeper; we won’t complain. Lord, let the blood of Jesus cover us and let us always maintain our faith and hope in You.

Warn Them For Me
Ezekiel 33:1-9
1 Again the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
2 Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman:
3 If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people;
4 Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head.
5 He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul.
6 But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.
7 So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me.
8 When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
9 Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.
Glory to God. We praise our God for blessing us to live to see this new month of February. Praise the Lord for He is good and His mercy endures forever. As we have witnessed over the years, certain events stir up the anger of God and He begins to look at everybody. He has been merciful to this nation for so long, but there are times when God becomes fed up with what transpires through the people of the earth. And I believe, we are at one of those crossroads now.
Amos 3:6 says, "Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the Lord hath not done it?" We must pay attention to what the Lord allows and takes vengeance upon for they are His trumpet warnings in the land. So today, He speaks again of a sword upon the land. The trumpet is being blown all over the world against violence, against deceit, corruption, and against perpetually hatred. The trumpet is being blown through the extreme weather, pestilence in the land, and continuous murders. However, the Lord warns us ignorance will not excuse us during this season. He said, "whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head."
Covid was a trumpet in so many ways, and many have failed or failed to take the warnings of it seriously. The death of George Floyd and others-were also His trumpet warnings. And if the people paid attention to those trumpets, more than likely they would not be faced with what they're being faced with today.
Beloveds, in life God will send you many trumpet warnings for your own personal doings. Warnings of to cease from this or that; to go or not to go; to do or not to do; to say or not to say-many warnings and trumpets will be sent, and whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away-his blood shall be upon his own head. This indicates-when we ignore God's trumpet warnings, we will suffer the consequences for God has no respecter of persons. He loves us dearly, but He won't erase what He said in this verse for anybody.
I don't know what form the next sword of God is coming in-but He's warning now be wise, and take it seriously. If you're not saved, get saved so you don't die in your iniquity. If you're the righteous stay humble and righteous before God. More death is coming to the land and it will effect the righteous and the wicked based on what the Lord is seeing on the earth. Take heed to His pleadings of "seek Me and you shall live." Take heed to His warnings of turn from wicked ways; and take heed to His warnings He sends through what is happening in the land.
If the enemy is using your hands to do wicked-put it off because God is truth and He has no covenant to bless wickedness or what is birthed from the devil's side. Pray for deliverance from evil ways and God will surely deliver you. I don't know what this warning is for, but it's being shared on a day when the weather has many shut in and the funeral is scheduled for another person who was beat down like the Samaritan man in the Bible. And as His Word has directed- I have shared and warned you for Him. In Jesus name, you will hear the warnings of the Lord and not be taken away.
Prayer:
Father, we thank you for Your trumpet warnings. For you are a God that warns of danger and things to come. You are a God who forgives, but You are also a God that will take action if Your warnings are ignored. Father, in Jesus name-let us not miss Your trumpet warnings in our lives. Let us not continue down paths of destructions when you have warned us to cease. Oh Lord God, the first day of the month You announce trumpet warnings-Lord give us the wisdom to know what they are for our lives. Now Lord, cover us by the blood of Jesus, and heal the broken hearted today; Lord, we ask for justice and truth in the land and that Your vengeance for all Your people is executed speedily. We pray for peace in our cities and Your mercy during the winter storms. Protect our homes, children, belongings and keep us safe and sound. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

Blowing of the Trumpet , Warning #2
Ezekiel 33:1-7

Glory to God. I told you all on yesterday, the Holy Spirit came again with the same words regarding the blowing of the trumpet. This is the second text He selected. Please notice, in this selection of scripture the Holy Spirit provides more information to say “ When I bring the sword upon a land…”
So twice we are told something is coming to the LAND. The Lord clearly declares He will bring a sword upon the land, but what type of sword will He bring this time? We aren’t told, but the fasting season was called exactly 10 days after the bank collapsed. Therefore, it’s highly likely this next sword may be a financial sword against the land.
Beloveds, God is only bringing to pass scriptures He’s already told us since 2020. These warnings are not new, but we see them coming to pass before our eyes. Here is an excerpt from a devotion in November 2020 taken from scripture text of Isaiah 17:4-7.
I researched my notes, and I didn’t realize it was the beginning of November 2020, we had a series of devotions speaking of famine to come and how to prepare. We spoke in November 2020 of beginning to prepare your households in the event goods and services were not as readily available. And we are coming upon one year of that Word, and sure enough the beginning signs of “shortages” are starting to appear. As I read the text last night, “And in that day it shall come to pass, that the glory of Jacob shall be made thin, and the fatness of his flesh shall wax lean.” The word “thin” stood out. It is only used 9 times in the Bible, and 5 of those times are in Genesis as God described the famine He sent Joseph to navigate the people through as Genesis 41:27 points out.
The Lord doesn’t want you to fear, but He does want you to be wise. Know the times we’re in and stay prayerful that the heavy Hand of God is turned away. This is not a time to stop giving to the Lord for we learn in Genesis 26, Isaac sowed in the time of famine and the Lord blessed him and made him great. For some, a time of famine will be terrible experiences. But for those who follow the leading of the Holy Spirit it will be during this time, you are made great. Also, He turned again to the scripture Woe to rushing nations and people -He’s still saying, “He will rebuke them.” All of this is just the Lord warning His people of what’s to come to the land so we can be wise regarding our decisions and actions.
Beloveds, His Words in the text are very clear. For those who won’t hear the trumpet of His voice-He says basically whatever happens is on your own head. Hear His second warning which was given, Sunday, March 19.
Prayer:
Father, You are our God and our keeper. Whatever the trouble is regarding the land, You will be a very present help for us in the time of trouble. We will not fear for You are our keeper, and since we are Your responsibility because we fear Your name-we know we will be kept in this time, and the time to come. Oh Lord God, You are our help. Therefore when we need help, no matter what it is-we know You have provided the help we will need. Turn away trouble oh God. We know the land is due another sword, but turn away trouble from our homes, our children, our vehicles, belongings, and lives. And we will stay under Your wings of protection because we believe Your Words. We will quiet ourselves simply because You have declared-it is time to seek the Lord! Now Lord, cover us by the blood of Jesus. Whatever our prayer role is for us as individuals-Lord reveal the assignment to us. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

Blowing of the Trumpet , Warning #3
Isaiah 18:3-5
3 All ye inhabitants of the world, and dwellers on the earth, see ye, when he lifteth up an ensign on the mountains; and when he bloweth a trumpet, hear ye.
4 For so the Lord said unto me, I will take my rest, and I will consider in my dwelling place like a clear heat upon herbs, and like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest.
5 For afore the harvest, when the bud is perfect, and the sour grape is ripening in the flower, he shall both cut off the sprigs with pruning hooks, and take away and cut down the branches.
Glory to God. This is the third warning given on March 20, 2023 the first day of the season of fasting. Here again, He provides more information. He tells us in this text-the trumpet is blowing to all the inhabitants of the world. So this is not just an event in our nation, but all nations. So here again, as the Covid was-an event that will impact all the inhabitants of the world.
However, God in His graciousness gives is three consecutive warnings with each scripture text referencing the blowing of the trumpet. Beloveds, to my knowledge-this is the first time the Lord has revisited a theme with us three consecutive times. Generally, He will say something one day and may return to it a few days later or several months later. But the pattern He’s using now is announcing an supreme urgency that surely it will come to pass.
-Pray for God to save souls and add to His kingdom.
-Pray against mass shootings.
-Pray for peace in your city.
-Pray for where you bank and ask God to shield and protect it from collapse and mismanagement
-Pray against secret attacks against our nation from far and near. Pray for the peace of other nations
-Pray for Jerusalem and peace in Jerusalem
-Pray against the enemy within. Whatever enemies are attacking your life from the inside pray God will cast them all out.
-Pray for God to bless all your food and water this year. For Him to remove impurities meant to cause harm and death.
Pray that the Lord will loose the portions swiftly to those who spoil and rob us.
Pray the Lord loose His strength against all forms of weariness.

Seek the Lord: His Decree Is Near
2 Chronicles 15:6-7; 12-15
6 And nation was destroyed of nation, and city of city: for God did vex them with all adversity.
7 Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded.
12 And they entered into a covenant to seek the Lord God of their fathers with all their heart and with all their soul;
13 That whosoever would not seek the Lord God of Israel should be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman.
14 And they sware unto the Lord with aloud voice, and with shouting, and with trumpets, and with cornets.
15 And all Judah rejoiced at the oath: for they had sworn with all their heart, and sought him with their whole desire; and he was found of them: and the Lord gave them rest round about.
Hosea 10:12
Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.
Glory to God. The Lord directed on Friday this is a time to seek the Lord . We often say we're seeking the Lord and use the phrase as a cliche-but when God gave the scripture in Hosea 10:12, it was if He opened a curtain because I wasn't hearing what He was saying. He was saying, "No hear what I'm saying. Really hear Me-it is TIME to seek the Lord."
Our text today provides more direction of why He is saying this for what is ahead before we get there. The scripture text starts with "nation was destroyed of nation, and city of city." For this day, I discern it to imply civil unrest. More nations will be fighting each and will be destroyed. Cities that once were will be no more, for they will be destroyed.
But He tells us to be strong, and let not our hands be weak. Keep moving forward, for all these things must be. The Lord will reward your work. And because He's blowing the trumpet saying "It is time to seek the Lord"-He also tells us the danger of not heeding to this warning. He says, "whosoever would not seek the Lord God of Israel should be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman."
He tells us to seek Him so we will live. Death can come in many facets. It can come by earthquakes, floods, disasters, and so many things we aren't even aware of. Therefore, refusal to"seek the Lord" brings us to dangers of some form of death that if we were seeking Him we could avoid it. Beloveds, God's Word is set and He won't change what is written. Remember, He told us last year this scripture from Zephaniah: "Gather yourselves together, yea, gather together, O nation not desired; Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the Lord come upon you, before the day of the Lord's anger come upon you. Seek ye the Lord, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the Lord's anger."
As I was writing this, He brought that warning from last year to my mind, and I had no idea " Seek the Lord" was in it. So last year He told us to gather, before the decree brings forth. He told us then-Seek the Lord. Thus, if we missed it-don't miss it again. Hear the Words of the Lord God who is never wrong. If we fail to abide by this direction, He warns-whether small or great, whether man or woman death and not His life will be the portion.
In Jesus name, let us not think God is not serious about what He is saying. There is a decree that will not be reversed coming to this earth. Let us be found as those who believe what He says.
Prayer:
Father, we thank you. We know as Your children You send Your Word for our good and not evil. You send Your Word so we are saved and we can draw nearer to You in this evil time. Lord, we know not what is to come. Ukraine knew not that suddenly their nation would be thrust into war. Oh Lord God, we are Your people, the sheep of Your pasture-let us turn ourselves to love You with all our heart, soul, and strength. Lord, I know Your Word is true-but I pray for mercy Lord. Mercy Lord over the small and great; mercy Lord over the man and woman. Mercy Lord over those who don't understand the time and think this nation can't be touched. Mercy Lord over our jobs, livelihoods, our bodies, food and drink. Mercy Lord over the cities we reside in. Lord we know what You said, but we also know we can cry for Your mercy. We don't know what is in Your fierce anger but we pray, Oh Lord God have mercy on those you desire to spare: rather it be our children, our loved ones, and our churches. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
