1 Again the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,

2 Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman:

3 If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people;

4 Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head.

5 He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul.

12 Therefore, thou son of man, say unto the children of thy people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression: as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turneth from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous be able to live for his righteousness in the day that he sins.

1 ויהי דבר יהוה אלי לאמר: 2 בן אדם דבר אל בני עמך ואמרת אלהם כי אביא חרב על הארץ, וייקח עם הארץ אישמגבולו וישימו לצופה: 3 אם בראותו חרב באה על הארץ ותקע בשופר והזהיר את העם: 4 וכל אשר שמע את קולהשופר ולא הזהיר, אם החרב באה ולקחה אותו, דמו יהיה בראשו. 5 שמע את קול השופר ולא הזהיר, דמו יהיה עליו, והזהיר יושיע את נפשו. 12 לכן אתה בן אדם אמר לבני עמך, צדקת צדיק לא תציל אותו ביום פשעו; ורשעתו של רשעלא ייפול בו ביום שובו מרשעתו, ולא יוכל הצדיק לחיות בצדקתו ביום חטאתו.

Glory to God. Praise the Lord for His mercy endures forever. A trumpet is blowing right now where the Lord God is calling His people to fast and pray. Now, I know many are accustomed to fasting in January to begin the New Year, but what if God changes our time to His time saying, don't wait until January-you need to fast now.

תהילה לאל. הלל את ה' כי חסדו לעולם. שופר תוקע עכשיו, שם קורא ה' אלוהים לעמו לצום ולהתפלל. עכשיו, אני יודעשרבים רגילים לצום בינואר כדי להתחיל את השנה החדשה, אבל מה אם אלוהים משנה את זמננו לזמנו ואומר, אלתחכו עד ינואר - אתם צריכים לצום עכשיו.

Beloveds, this is His time and it is now and I'm not sure why. All I know is I received a sure Word from the Lord saying to, Blow the trumpet in Zion, and sound the alarm. So, I'm sounding the alarm now so His people can cry out to Him and be spared from the reproach of what is on the way.

Our text says, "Therefore, thou son of man, say unto the children of thy people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression: as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turneth from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous be able to live for his righteousness in the day that he sins.” Basically, the Lord is saying give up your life of sin, if you’re saying you are mine.

הכתוב שלנו אומר, "לכן אתה בן אדם אמר לבני עמך צדקת צדיק לא תציל אותו ביום פשעו; ורשע רשע לא ייפול בוביום שובו מרשעתו; ולא יוכל צדיק לחיות בצדקתו ביום חטאתו." בעיקרון, אלוהים אומר לוותר על חיי החטא שלך, אםאתה אומר שאתה שלי.

This Word says a sword is coming to the land again. It goes on to say warn My people, and "If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people, Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head. He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul."

דבר זה אומר שחרב שוב באה לארץ. הוא ממשיך ואומר הזהירו את עמי, ו"אם כשראה את החרב באה על הארץ ותקעבשופר והזהיר את העם, וכל אשר שמע את קול השופר ולא הזהיר; אם החרב תבוא ולקחה אותו, דמו יהיה בראשו. שמע את קול השופר ולא הזהיר; דמו יהיה עליו. והמזהיר יושיע את נפשו".

Beloveds, the Lord has a sensitivity for Jerusalem and Israel like none other. Are they perfect? Beloveds, far from it-but God knows it and they can't escape His hand either for He chastises those He loves. Know this, Jesus died on the cross in that land, so who dares to mess with it no matter what they do? However, in His mercy He sees the hearts of all people and He knows those who speak out because they have been hurt by God's nation; and He knows those who truly hate His nation in their hearts. Always remember, God is God and He is a righteous judge even regarding the evil deeds of His own people. God will judge them as well as all.

אהובים, לאדון יש רגישות לירושלים ולישראל שאין כמותה. האם הם מושלמים? אהובים, רחוק מכך - אבל אלוהים יודעזאת וגם הם לא יכולים להימלט מידו כי הוא מייסר את אלה שהוא אוהב. דעו זאת, ישוע מת על הצלב בארץ ההיא, אזמי מעז להתעסק איתה לא משנה מה הוא עושה? עם זאת, ברחמיו הוא רואה את ליבם של כל האנשים והוא מכיר אתאלה שמדברים כי נפגעו על ידי עמו של אלוהים; והוא מכיר את אלה שבאמת שונאים את עמו בליבם. זכרו תמיד, אלוהים הוא אלוהים והוא שופט צדיק אפילו בנוגע למעשים הרעים של עמו. אלוהים ישפוט אותם כמו גם את כולם.

Thus, cry out to God to spare His people. Spare all His people from reproach and the plans of the enemy. Let us cry out to God mightily to let Thy kingdom come and let Thy will be done on earth and in Heaven. Let us cry out to God to save the lost and bring them into the knowledge of the true and living God.

לכן, צעקו לאלוהים שיציל את עמו. הצילו את כל עמו מחרפה ומתוכניות האויב. הבה נצעק לאלוהים בעוז שיבואמלכותך ויעשה רצונך בארץ ובשמים. הבה נצעק לאלוהים שיושיע את האבודים ויביאם לידיעת האל האמיתי והחי.

Prayer:

Oh Lord God, You are a great God and a great King above all gods. In Your Hand are the deep places of the earth and the strength of the hills also. O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker. For You are our God; and we are the people of Your pasture, and the sheep of Your hand. Today if we will hear Your voice, let us not harden our heart.

For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the LORD made the heavens. Honor and majesty are before You; strength and beauty are in Your sanctuary. Let us give unto the LORD, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength. Give unto the LORD the glory due unto His name: bring an offering, and come into His courts. O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before Him all the earth. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

תפילה: ה' אלוקים, אתה אל גדול ומלך גדול על כל האלהים. בידך מעמקים ארץ ועוז הגבעות. בואו נשתחוה ונשתחוה, נרעה לפני ה' יוצרנו. כי אתה אלהינו ואנחנו עם מרעייך וצאן ידך. היום אם נשמע בקולך, אל נקשיח את לבנו. כי כלאלהי הגויים אלילים הם, וה' עשה שמים. כבוד והוד לפניך, כוח והדר במקדשך. ניתן לה' משפחות עמים, ניתן לה' כבודועוצמה. תן לה' כבוד שמו, הביאו מנחה ובאו חצרותיו. השתחוו לה' בפאר קדש, יראו לפניו כל הארץ. בשם ישוענתפלל, אמן.

Isaiah 9:1-7

1 Nevertheless the dimness shall not be such as was in her vexation, when at the first he lightly afflicted the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, and afterward did more grievously afflict her by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, in Galilee of the nations.

2 The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.

3 Thou hast multiplied the nation, and not increased the joy: they joy before thee according to the joy in harvest, and as men rejoice when they divide the spoil.

4 For thou hast broken the yoke of his burden, and the staff of his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor, as in the day of Midian.

5 For every battle of the warrior is with confused noise, and garments rolled in blood; but this shall be with burning and fuel of fire.

6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of Hosts will perform this.

אך לא יהיה האפלה ככאלה שהייתה בצרתה, כאשר בראשונה ענה קלות את ארץ זבולון ואת ארץ נפתלי, ואחר כך ענתה קשה עוד דרך הים, מעבר הירדן, בגלילת הגויים. 2 העם ההולך בחושך ראה אור גדול; יושבי ארץ צלמוות, עליהם זרח אור. 3 הרבת את הגוי, ולא הגדלת שמחה; ישמחו לפניך כשמחת קציר, וכשמחים בחלוקת שלל. 4 כי שברת את עול משאו, ואת מטה כתפו, את שבט צוררו, כביום מדין. 5 כי כל מלחמת גיבור היא ברעש מהומה, ובגדים מגולגלים בדם; וזה יהיה בשריפה ובאש. ו כי ילד נולד לנו בן נתן לנו והמשלה תהיה על שכמו ונקרא שמו נפלא יועץ אל גיבור אב עולם שר שלום ז רב ממשלתו ושלום לא יהיה קץ על כסא דוד ועל ממלכתו לסדרה ולכוננה במשפט ובצדק מעתה ועד עולם קנאת ה' צבאות תעשה זאת

Glory to God. Regardless of how we feel about people, God sees them as souls that are worthy of His love and worthy to be saved. For He knows that our hearts can be hardened to the extent we have no regard for a little child, a baby, the young, sick, disabled, or even the aged. We can lump all people we despise into one group, and if He left it up to our hands-some would destroy without ever considering what they are actually doing to a person’s soul.

תהילה לאל. בלי קשר לאופן שבו אנו מרגישים כלפי אנשים, אלוהים רואה אותם כנשמות הראויות לאהבתו וראויות להישוע. כי הוא יודע שליבנו יכול להיות קשוח עד כדי כך שאיננו מתייחסים לילד קטן, לתינוק, לצעירים, לחולים, לנכים או אפילו לזקנים. אנו יכולים לקבץ את כל האנשים שאנו מתעבים לקבוצה אחת, ואם הוא היה משאיר זאת בידינו - חלקם היו הורסים מבלי לשקול בכלל מה הם באמת עושים לנשמתו של אדם.

But I ask today, is that the love of God? Does that follow the commandment of Jesus found in John 13:34-35 which says, "A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have loveone to another."

אבל אני שואל היום, האם זו אהבת האל? האם זה תואם את מצוות ישוע הנמצאת ביוחנן י"ג 34-35, אשר אומרת: "מצווה חדשה אני נותן לכם, שתאהבו זה את זה; כשם שאני אהבתי אתכם, כך גם אתם תאהבו זה את זה. בזאת ידעו כולם כי תלמידיי אתם, אם תהיה לכם אהבה זה לזה."

Often in our anger and frustration, we don't realize we are far from the commandments of Jesus. However, know-we can't stop Jesus from showing His love and mercy to all the people of the world.

לעתים קרובות, בכעסנו, איננו מודעים לכך שאנו רחוקים ממצוותיו של ישוע. עם זאת, דעו - איננו יכולים למנוע מישוע להראות את אהבתו ורחמיו לכל אנשי העולם.

In our text, the Word speaks of a people "that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined." There is a people today who have walked in the darkness of not knowing Christ, but He will show them His great light! There is a people today who dwell in the shadow of death, but God will spare them and upon them His light will shine on them just as His light has shone on you. With or without your permission, He will love them, be merciful to them, and save their souls. He is the Lord, and whom among you can counsel Him?

בטקסט שלנו, דבר ה' מדבר על עם "ההולכים בחושך ראו אור גדול; יושבי ארץ צל המוות, עליהם זרח אור". יש היום עם שהלך בחושך של אי-הכרת המשיח, אך הוא יראה להם את אורו הגדול! יש היום עם השוכן בצל המוות, אך אלוהים יחוס עליהם ועליהם אורו יזרח עליהם כשם שאורו זרח עליכם. עם או בלי רשותכם, הוא יאהב אותם, ירחם עליהם ויציל את נשמותיהם. הוא ה', ומי מכם יכול לייעץ לו?

I'm reminded of the great-grandmother of Jesus. She was not from Israel or Jerusalem, but Moab which was a land where they walked in darkness. But God was introduced to Ruth through Naomi. Ruth was given a chance to know the Light of Living God, and He spared her life, and pulled her out of Moab to be His own! He saved her from a place where God wasn't known or even worshipped, but He loved her and used her for His purpose!

אני מזכיר את סבתא רבתא של ישוע. היא לא הייתה מישראל או מירושלים, אלא ממואב, שהייתה ארץ שבה הלכו בחושך. אבל אלוהים הוצג בפני רות דרך נעמי. רות קיבלה הזדמנות להכיר את אור האל החי, והוא חס על חייה, והוציא אותה ממואב כדי שתהיה שלו! הוא הציל אותה ממקום שבו אלוהים לא היה מוכר או אפילו לא סגדו לו, אבל הוא אהב אותה והשתמש בה למטרתו!

Ruth was truly one this scripture was manifested in and also John 13:34-35.

What if God had not shown Ruth mercy and love? What if God had just decided she was evil because she lived in a place that did not Him? Well, He did not. Let us remember to pray as we work in the fields God has called us to. Be mindful to pray for souls and that our hands never cut off someone God desires to save. For if there was one Ruth there is another. There is a certain man and a certain women, or child God desires to save. Let us not despise all people because we just may be despising someone loved as He did the Moabite grandmother of Jesus Christ. Ruth, the one He found in darkness in whom He granted the chance for eternal life and to be a part of the ancestry of the Prince of Peace. Always consider, there is someone He desires to spare in the place.

רות הייתה באמת אחת מהן, כפי שכתובים אלה התבטא, וגם ביוחנן י"ג:34-35. מה היה קורה אילו אלוהים לא היה מגלה לרות רחמים ואהבה? מה היה קורה אילו אלוהים פשוט היה מחליט שהיא רעה משום שחיה במקום שלא חי בו? ובכן, הוא לא עשה זאת. הבה נזכור להתפלל כשאנו עובדים בשדות שאלוהים קרא לנו אליהם. היו מודעים להתפלל למען נשמות ושידינו לעולם לא יכרות את מי שאלוהים חפץ להציל. כי אם הייתה רות אחת, ישנה אחרת. יש גבר מסוים ואישה מסוימת, או ילד שאלוהים חפץ להציל. הבה אל נבוז לכל האנשים, כי ייתכן שאנו בוזים למישהו אהוב כפי שעשה לסבתו המואבייה של ישוע המשיח. רות, זו שהוא מצא בחושך, בה העניק את ההזדמנות לחיי נצח ולהיות חלק מאבותיו של שר השלום. קחו בחשבון תמיד, יש מישהו שהוא חפץ לחוס עליו במקום.

Prayer:

Father, in this age where the love of many has waxed cold and the heart of men are hardened to the love of God-let that not be our heart, nor our portion. Father, when you spare lives, let us praise You for we too are those You have spared. Father, You are the Lord and You know whom You will spare and whom You will not. Therefore Lord, we pray today for Your Light to come. Let Thy Light come to the people who walk in darkness and let them experience Your great light. The people that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, we ask Father-please loose upon them Your grace and let Your light shine upon them as You have done for us. For it is written in John 3:16, For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Give someone today, Your everlasting life.

In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

14 For thus saith the Lord of Hosts; As I thought to punish you, when your fathers provoked me to wrath, saith the Lord of hosts, and I repented not:

15 So again have I thought in these days to do well unto Jerusalem and to the house of Judah: fear ye not.

16 These are the things that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates:

17 And let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbour; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, saith the Lord.

14 כי כה אמר יהוה צבאות כאשר חשבתי להעניש אתכם בהחרפתי אבותיכם נאם יהוה צבאות ולא נחמתי 15 כן עודחשבתי בימים האלה להיטיב לירושלים ולבית יהודה אל תיראו 16 אלה הדברים אשר תעשו דברו איש אמת לרעך עשומשפט אמת ושלום בשערייכם 17 ולא יעלה מכם רעה בלבבכם על רעהו ולא יאהבו שבועת שקר כי את כל אלה אני שנאנאם יהוה

Micah 6:8

מיכה ו':ח'

He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

הַגִּידְךָ אָדָם מַה טוֹב; וּמַה דּוֹרֵשׁ יְהוָה מִמֶּנָּה כִּי לְעַשְׂתִּי צְדָקָה וְאַהֲבָה חֶסֶד וְלָכֶה בְעֲנָוִים עִם אֱלֹהֶיךָ.

In the last days, upon which we have entered on Gods calendar, there will be two dynamics going on at the same time on the earth. God has not turned from His direction to shake the heavens and earth-but as He performs His Word-just know you are in His hedge of well. Meaning, it shall be well for your life and not evil. But maintaining this hedge of well in this season doesn’t come without conditions. There are things He is asking us to do, in addition to what He has already instructed for God desires we remain well. Thus, I can’t speak on where His thoughts are for others today-but for you-He gives this Word and I pray they govern the rest of your life.

באחרית הימים, בהם נכנסנו ללוח השנה של אלוהים, יהיו שתי דינמיקות המתרחשות בו זמנית על פני האדמה. אלוהיםלא פנה מכיוונו כדי להרעיד את השמיים והארץ - אך כאשר הוא מקיים את דברו - דעו שאתם נמצאים בגדר הטוב שלו. כלומר, שיהיה טוב לחיכם ולא לרע. אך שמירה על גדר הטוב הזו בתקופה זו אינה מגיעה ללא תנאים. ישנם דבריםשהוא מבקש מאיתנו לעשות, בנוסף למה שכבר הורה, כי אלוהים חפץ שנישאר בריאים. לכן, איני יכול לדבר על היכןמחשבותיו לגבי אחרים כיום - אך לגביכם - הוא נותן את דברו הזה ואני מתפלל שהן ישלטו בשארית חייכם.

If you desire to sustain His well of goodness in your life, these are the things that ye must do:

-Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour;

-Execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates:

-Let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbor.

-Love no false oath.

-Do justly

-Love mercy.

-Walk humbly with thy God.

אם אתם רוצים לקיים את מקור הטוב שלו בחייכם, אלה הדברים שעליכם לעשות: - דברו אמת איש לחברו; - עשומשפט אמת ושלום בשערייכם; - אל יעלה בדעתכם רעה בלבבכם על חברו. - אל תאהבו שבועת שקר. - עשו צדקה. - אהבו חסד. - הלכו בענווה עם אלוהיך.

Right now, we have His face of mercy, but if we continuously engage in the things listed above we can move His thought in another direction. Therefore, stay with truth, peace, and mercy. Let no one take you to the place where you want revenge on them, nor go to a place you start imagining evil to come upon them for these are things God hates.

כרגע, יש לנו את פניו הרחומים, אך אם נעסוק ללא הרף בדברים המפורטים לעיל נוכל להניע את מחשבתו לכיוון אחר. לכן, הישארו עםהאמת, השלום והרחמים. אל תתנו לאף אחד לקחת אתכם למקום שבו אתם רוצים לנקום בו, ואל תלכו למקום שבו אתם מתחילים לדמיין שרעיבוא עליו, כי אלה דברים שאלוהים שונא.

We’ve all made mistakes because we didn’t know this Word, but now God has revealed His Word. Thus, let us go there no more and if we have-repent. God will fight our battles so perfectly, when He gets done people will wish they never met you. Yes, we want God to sit right where He is with us in His thoughts, but please know-He has other thoughts of destruction that His angels have been instructed to carry out when God ordains if the earths continue in violence and abominations before His face.

כולנו טעינו כי לא ידענו את דברו הזה, אבל עכשיו אלוהים גילה את דברו. לכן, הבה לא נלך לשם יותר, ואם כן - נחזור בתשובה. אלוהים יילחם אתמלחמותינו בצורה כה מושלמת, שכאשר יסיים אנשים יתחרטו שלא פגשו אתכם מעולם. כן, אנו רוצים שאלוהים יישב בדיוק במקום בו הוא נמצאאיתנו במחשבותיו, אבל דעו בבקשה - יש לו מחשבות אחרות של הרס שמלאכיו קיבלו הוראה לבצע כאשר אלוהים יקבע אם כדור הארץ ימשיךבאלימות ובתועבות מול פניו.

Therefore, let us believe the Word of the Lord for He never jokes. Do not fear-You are in the hedge of well and I pray that your portion remains!

לכן, הבה נאמין בדבר ה' כי הוא לעולם לא מתבדח. אל תפחד - אתה נמצא בתוך גדר של באר ואני מתפלל שחלקךיישאר!

Prayer:

Father, we thank You for all You have done. Release grace this day to do the things You have said to do. Oh Lord God, loose the angels of the Lord who have charge over the land to draw near, and do what You have commanded in Your Word. Father, recompense Your right thing judgment to those who trouble us. Recompense their way upon their own heads. Lord, hear our cry today and cleanse this earth for Your sake and the sake of all the children who have no helper, but You! Father, please defer not. Make haste, oh God and rise up and loose Your judgment and destroying weapon to cleanse the land and give us our inheritance and heritage. In Jesus name we pray, Amen!

12 Therefore the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying,

13 Thus saith the Lord, the God of Israel; I made a covenant with your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondmen, saying,

14 At the end of seven years let ye go every man his brother an Hebrew, which hath been sold unto thee; and when he hath served thee six years, thou shalt let him go free from thee: but your fathers hearkened not unto me, neither inclined their ear.

15 And ye were now turned, and had done right in my sight, in proclaiming liberty every man to his neighbour; and ye had made a covenant before me in the house which is called by my name:

16 But ye turned and polluted my name, and caused every man his servant, and every man his handmaid, whom he had set at liberty at their pleasure, to return, and brought them into subjection, to be unto you for servants and for handmaids.

17 Therefore thus saith the Lord; Ye have not hearkened unto me, in proclaiming liberty, every one to his brother, and every man to his neighbour: behold, I proclaim a liberty for you, saith the Lord, to the sword, to the pestilence, and to the famine; and I will make you to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth.

Jeremiah 34:18-20

18 And I will give the men that have transgressed my covenant, which have not performed the words of the covenant which they had made before me, when they cut the calf in twain, and passed between the parts thereof,

19 The princes of Judah, and the princes of Jerusalem, the eunuchs, and the priests, and all the people of the land, which passed between the parts of the calf;

20 I will even give them into the hand of their enemies, and into the hand of them that seek their life: and their dead bodies shall be for meat unto the fowls of the heaven, and to the beasts of the earth.

ירמיהו לד:18-20 18 ונתתי את האנשים אשר עברו את בריתי, אשר לא עשו את דברי הברית אשר כרתו לפניי, בבתי העגל לשנים, ועברו ביןחלקיו: 19 שרי יהודה ושרי ירושלם, הסריסים והכהנים, ואת כל עם הארץ, אשר עברו בין חלקי העגל: 20 ונתתי אותם ביד איביהם, וביד מבקשינפשם, וגופתם תהיה לאכלה לעוף השמים ולבהמת הארץ.

Glory to God. When we fail to obey God’s divine order we risk a judgment from God that is unavoidable if we do not obey His commands. This is the case with proclaiming liberty to every Hebrew and Hebrewess after God’s allotted timeframe. Israel failed to obey this covenant from the Lord and they thought He would just turn His head and let it go; but He did not. And if He is bringing it to our attention today-He is saying, He will not turn His head in our day either.

תהילה לאל. כאשר איננו מצייתים לצו האלוהי של אלוהים, אנו מסתכנים במשפט מאלוהים שהוא בלתי נמנע אם לא נציית למצוותיו. זהו המקרה עם הכרזת חירות לכל עברי ועברייה לאחר מסגרת הזמן שהוקצבה לאלוהים. ישראל לא צייתו לברית זו מאת ה' וחשבו שהוא פשוט יסובב את ראשו ויניח לזה ללכת; אך הוא לא עשה זאת. ואם הוא מביא זאת לתשומת ליבנו היום - הוא אומר, שהוא לא יסובב את ראשו גם בימינו.

Now, there is one danger of this covenant of liberty that should make us all pause. And it is the Lord has spoken, if this covenant is disobeyed-He will give them into the hand of their enemies. Jeremiah 34:20 says, “ I will even give them into the hand of their enemies, and into the hand of them that seek their life.” Thus, if this commandment is ignored-it is inevitable that there will be problems for the mouth of the Lord has spoken it.

We may have moved on from God delivering the children of Israel from the bondage of the Egyptians, but He will never forget it, nor will He ever forget the covenant that He made with your fathers. And know, God is not a covenant breaker. When He made the covenant of the day and night, to this day that covenant has obeyed His Words, so why would any other covenant from Him be different? It is not.

אולי התקדמנו מאלוהים שהציל את בני ישראל מעבדות מצרים, אך הוא לעולם לא ישכח זאת, וגם לא ישכח לעולם את הברית אשר כרת עם אבותיכם. ודעו, אלוהים אינו מפר ברית. כאשר כרת את ברית היום והלילה, עד היום הזה הברית הזו צייתה לדבריו, אז מדוע כל ברית אחרת ממנו תהיה שונה? היא לא.

Who wants to risk God giving them into the hands of enemies? Who wants to risk God allowing those who seek their lives to have any type of victory? I believe, not one! Thus, when God is saying something-believe Him. When God is giving an opportunity to get it right, don’t ignore Him. For He is the God of all things and He promised in Deuteronomy 1:11, “The Lord God of your fathers make you a thousand times so many more as ye are, and bless you, as he hath promised you!” Thus, there is no need to keep His people under subjection when His desire is liberty for them. Israel, remember-you are the picture of the goodness of God and how God never desires that any of His people ever remain in an everlasting bondage without the hope that their God will bring them out. The heart of God towards all His people is for them to be let go. He told Pharaoh to let His people go, and when Pharaoh failed to comply-He found out that He is the Lord. Israel, He is the Lord.

Prayer:

Father, in Jesus name let us hear Your Word that everyone should let his manservant, and everyone his maidservant go free, and that none should serve themselves of them any more on them. Let us obey and let them go before we bring upon ourselves judgment that You are trying to spare us from. Father, let us understand we are not here to do our will, but to uphold the will of our righteous Father, and His order in the earth. For You have promised that whatever we need of You, that You will make us a thousand times more than we are. Thus we want not for anything because You, oh Lord, are our shepherd. You, oh Lord, are the God of liberty and just as You refused to have the children of Israel in bondage to Pharaoh then, You are the same God who refuses to allow them to be in bondage and under subjection passed Your threshold today. Let us hear, and obey. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

6 And I heard him speaking unto me out of the house; and the man stood by me.

7 And he said unto me, Son of man, the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel forever, and my holy name, shall the house of Israel no more defile, neither they, nor their kings, by their whoredom, nor by the carcases of their kings in their high places.

8 In their setting of their threshold by My thresholds, and their post by My posts, and the wall between Me and them, they have even defiled My holy name by their abominations that they have committed: wherefore I have consumed them in mine anger.

9 Now let them put away their whoredom, and the carcases of their kings, far from Me, and I will dwell in the midst of them forever.

10 Thou son of man, show the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities: and let them measure the pattern.

11 And if they be ashamed of all that they have done, shew them the form of the house, and the fashion thereof, and the goings out thereof, and the comings in thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the laws thereof: and write it in their sight, that they may keep the whole form thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and do them.

Ezekiel 43:12-17

12 This is the law of the house; Upon the top of the mountain the whole limit thereof round about shall be most holy. Behold, this is the law of the house.

13 And these are the measures of the altar after the cubits: The cubit is a cubit and an hand breadth; even the bottom shall be a cubit, and the breadth a cubit, and the border thereof by the edge thereof round about shall be a span: and this shall be the higher place of the altar.

14 And from the bottom upon the ground even to the lower settle shall be two cubits, and the breadth one cubit; and from the lesser settle even to the greater settle shall be four cubits, and the breadth one cubit.

15 So the altar shall be four cubits; and from the altar and upward shall be four horns.

16 And the altar shall be twelve cubits long, twelve broad, square in the four squares thereof.

17 And the settle shall be fourteen cubits long and fourteen broad in the four squares thereof; and the border about it shall be half a cubit; and the bottom thereof shall be a cubit about; and his stairs shall look toward the east.

Psalm 41:11

By this I know that You favor me, because my enemy does not triumph over me.

תהילים מא, יא בזאת אדע כי חפצתך עלי כי לא יגבר אויבי עלי.

Glory to God. The Holy Spirit reveals today an identifying sign of the favor of God and it is the inability for our enemies to triumph over us. Enemies will rise up against us, but because God favors us-that enemy won’t be able to win. In Jesus name I pray you are one God has favored.

תהילה לאל. רוח הקודש מגלה היום סימן מזהה לחסד האל והוא חוסר היכולת של אויבינו לנצח אותנו. אויבים יקומו נגדנו, אך מכיוון שאלוהים חסד אותנו - אויב זה לא יוכל לנצח. בשם ישוע אני מתפלל שאתה אחד שאלוהים חסד.

Now notice, God didn't say the enemy would not come with attacks-but He said when you are favored by God-those attacks will not triumph over you. In life, we will encounter all types of enemies in every facet of life. And whatever enemy you are dealing it today, know, it will use various forms of attacks to discourage you. For when you think you have one door closed-he will start mess through another door. And for some the attack you are dealing with is sickness and others it is financial. For some it is an attack against your children and family, and for others the attacks are more serious than we will ever know. Sometimes the attack that rises up against us are attacks that can change the life and the world. So, the attacks of any enemy is not something to take lightly because whatever the devil is behind, he is stedfast on his mission to steal, kill, and destroy.

But praise be to God our God is on our side. When the enemy attacks, we must stand and fight the good fight of faith. We don’t fight only with natural methods, but children of God fight with spiritual methods as well. If you are under attack, prayer is not an option. Every day you should be praying about the issue and asking God to execute your triumph. You should pray for the Lord to release angels on your behalf and to have mercy. No matter how hard or difficult the attack against you may be, lift up prayers asking God, "Lord continue to favor me and remember your Word to not let the enemy triump over me.”

I want you to know that God is not done with His shaking earth. He is still saying and has repeated Himself twice recently by declaring-"Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up." And when He said it again today, I was like-“Lord, aren't we already in war?” However, I know God never misspeaks. If He is still saying prepare-more is on the way and there must be something coming we are still unprepared for. And because we are unprepared, God is holding back His hand. Let us all lift up our voices and cry out to God-Father, please prepare us for what we know not. Father, let us not be caught unaware by the enemy, but let us seek You for wisdom to know how to prepare. Father, please reveal to us what we must do in this time You are calling war. In Jesus name, we call on You, oh God- help us prepare for Lord, we don't know how.

Father, we thank you for favor. Father, in whatever way we aren't prepared for what is coming-reveal it to us Lord. Lord, give us the wisdom to know what to do because You never promised the land would stay the same forever. As You announce the season which is about to change for the world and nations-Lord, please release Your wisdom of what we must do. Lord we cry unto You-we call upon the Name of The Lord for our help is in the Name of the Lord who made heaven and earth. Father, in Jesus name whenever this Word is executed on the earth-let us be prepared and not unprepared. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

Again, We Can’t Erase the Order of God שוב, איננו יכולים למחוק את סדר האל

15 And ye were now turned, and had done right in my sight, in proclaiming liberty every man to his neighbour; and ye had made a covenant before me in the house which is called by my name:

ירמיהו לד: 12-17

Glory to God. For several years, God has continued to emphasize His covenant of liberty so it is something that is on His mind. This is the covenant where He says after seven years every Hebrew should let his brother or sister go free and not serve himself of them anymore. That after seven years of service they are to go free, and every debt is to be exacted. And it seems this covenant is on the mind of God so much, that He brought the scriptures in our text to our remembrance again today. Therefore, let us not ignore what God does not ignore.

Now, we may have our own ways of doing things, however we think wrongly when we assume our ways will negate the order of the Lord. We can ignore His order, but it won’t erase it. We can refuse His order, but that is risky too because we can be judged for the things that we know, but do not. For in days of Eli the priest, the Word of the Lord was spoken saying, “In that day I will perform against Eli all things which I have spoken concerning his house: when I begin, I will also make an end. For I have told him that I will judge his house for ever for the iniquity which he knoweth; because his sons made themselves vile, and he restrained them not.” Thus, God can judge for the things we know to do, but we turn our face from it.

Yes, we live in modern times which have created the laws of man. But when should the laws of men and their ideas and desires, negate the Word of the Lord? They will not for strong and mighty is the Lord our God. Isaiah 30 warns us not to be rebellious children and that is also rebellious against the Word of God. Isaiah 30:12-13, says, “Wherefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel, Because ye despise This Word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay thereon:Therefore, this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking cometh suddenly at an instant.”

Children of God let us fear the Lord so this shall not be our portion. For if we fail to take heed to His covenant of liberty, this is what God will send through the sword, pestilence, and famine. But if we return and rest in His Word-we shall be saved. If we just believe that God can make a way when we can’t see a way-quietness and in confidence shall be your strength in Jesus name.

Prayer:

Lord of Hosts we praise Your name. We look to You for our counsel, our guidance, and the way that we take. Lord, help us to return to Your way of doing things and to honor the covenants You have set before us. Let us not lean to our own understanding, but trust in the Lord our God. If we are rebellious in Your eyes-Father, forgive our sin of rebellion and help us turn to Your right and perfect way. For You are our God and we are Your people and in You, oh God, do we put our trust. In Jesus name we pray, Amen .

3 Therefore prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord God; Because they have made you desolate, and swallowed you up on every side, that ye might be a possession unto the residue of the heathen, and ye are taken up in the lips of talkers, and are an infamy of the people:

4 Therefore, ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord God; Thus saith the Lord God to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes, and to the cities that are forsaken, which became a prey and derision to the residue of the heathen that are round about;

5 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Surely in the fire of my jealousy have I spoken against the residue of the heathen, and against all Idumea, which have appointed my land into their possession with the joy of all their heart, with despiteful minds, to cast it out for a prey.

6 Prophesy therefore concerning the land of Israel, and say unto the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I have spoken in My jealousy and in My fury, because ye have borne the shame of the heathen:

7 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; I have lifted up mine hand, Surely the heathen that are about you, they shall bear their shame.

Glory to God. It can often seem because God allows things to happen that we wish He would stop-that His intervention will never come. Or, because He can allow us to go through things where we wonder if He is seeing what is going on, we can wonder does He really care? But God does care and His intervention will come. For when we read the Word of God, we learn that God often allowed circumstances that caused His people to experience the highs and lows in life just as we experience. But, just because lows were allowed, it didn’t imply God would forsake His people, nor did it indicate God would let the behavior pass. No! Isaiah 47:11 says of the wicked-“Therefore shall evil come upon thee; thou shalt not know from whence it rises: and mischief shall fall upon thee; thou shalt not be able to put it off: and desolation shall come upon thee suddenly, which thou shalt not know.” So, although God is long suffering, there could be a price to pay especially when the evil done affects someone or something He loves.

The earth is full of land; however, all land is not for the possession of everyone. This is because the earth belongs to the Lord and there is land that is holy unto Him. And even if you conquer or buy land that God considers holy-you can’t live like God won’t eventually have a say in it. Well, I am telling you today-He will. In our text, the Lord God specifically mentions an enemy that has said, “even the ancient high places are theirs for possession.” And through this text, the Lord reveals He has paid attention to His people and everything that has been made desolate, swallowed you up, and even the words spoken against you! And He says today-He shall lift up His hand against it all! For a little while, it will seem the heathen has won and God has forsaken you. However, remember the Lord God has spoken-the heathen round about you shall bear their shame.

הארץ מלאה אדמה, אך לא כל האדמה מיועדת לרכוש כולם. הסיבה לכך היא שהארץ שייכת לה' ויש אדמה קדושה לו. וגם אם תכבוש או תקנה אדמה שאלוהים מחשיב כקדושה - אינך יכול לחיות כאילו לאלוהים לא תהיה בסופו של דבר אמירה בנושא. ובכן, אני אומר לך היום - הוא יעשה זאת. בטקסט שלנו, ה' אלוהים מזכיר במפורש אויב שאמר, "אפילו במות העתיק שלהם לרכוש". ודרך פסוק זה, ה' מגלה שהוא שם לב לעמו ולכל מה שנשממה, בלע אותך, ואפילו לדברים שנאמרו נגדך! והוא אומר היום - הוא ירים את ידו על הכל! לזמן קצר, ייראה שהגויים ניצחו ואלוהים עזב אותך. עם זאת, זכרו כי ה' אלוהים דיבר - הגויים סביבכם ישאו את חרפתם.

A shame is coming to the heathen they won’t be able to put off. This is because it is not coming from man, but the Lord God. The land belongs to God and although the hands of men can possess it, please know-the Hands of God can terrorize to the point they will flee. Thus, for every evil enemy remember the land belongs to God. Remember, Isaiah 47:11 for the mouth of the Lord has spoken it: “Therefore shall evil come upon thee; thou shalt not know from whence it rises: and mischief shall fall upon thee; thou shalt not be able to put it off: and desolation shall come upon thee suddenly, which thou shalt not know.”

בושה מגיעה לגויים אשר לא יוכלו לדחותה. הסיבה לכך היא שאינה באה מאדם, אלא מה' אלוהים. הארץ שייכת לאלוהים, ולמרות שידי אדם יכולות לרשתה, דעו נא - ידי אלוהים יכולות להטיל אימה עד כדי כך שהם יברחו. לכן, לכל אויב רע, זכרו שהארץ שייכת לאלוהים. זכרו, ישעיהו מ"ז, יא, כי פי ה' דיבר: "לכן תבוא עליך רעה, לא תדע מאין תקום, ונפל עליך רעה, לא תוכל לדחותה, ופתאום תבוא עליך שממה, אשר לא תדע".

Prayer:

Father, You are our strength when we are weak, You are the treasure that we seek-You are our all and all. Help us endure the sufferings of this present time. The sufferings of desolations at times, being swallowed up unjustly, and even taken up in the lips of talkers. Let our earnest expectation of Your deliverance come and let us rise up with prayers to You for we are the people of the Most High God. Deliver us, oh God, from the bondage of corruption and release Your glorious liberty into our lives. For in You is our hope; our hope is in Your Word that You will come and save us from all the things where the enemy has refused to let us go. Father, this day we ask, please send help from heaven and save us from the reproach of those that would swallow us up. Oh Lord God, let us not be a reproach, not let us be perpetually put to shame. Send forth Your mercy and truth as Your Word promised. Remember us and have be merciful. For the Lord is good and His mercy endures forever. In Jesus name we pray, Amen .

Don't Disappear or Hide From God אל תיעלם או תסתתר מאלוהים

Jeremiah 4:12-13

12 Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the Lord; and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you: for I am merciful, saith the Lord, and I will not keep anger for ever.

13 Only acknowledge thine iniquity, that thou hast transgressed against the Lord thy God, and hast scattered thy ways to the strangers under every green tree, and ye have not obeyed my voice, saith the Lord.

ירמיה ד' 12-13 12 לך וקראת את הדברים האלה צפון ואמרת שובה ישראל שובה נאם ה' ולא אפל עליכם אפי כי רחום אנכי נאם ה' ולא אשמור אף לעד. 13 רק הכרת עוונך כי פשעת ביהוה אלהיך ופזרת דרכיך אל הזרים תחת כל עץ רענן ולא שמעתם בקולי נאם ה'.

Glory to God. All people were created to worship and serve the Lord. We weren’t created to worship any other god, or anything we have accomplished. Yet, that is what the enemy has deceived us into thinking and he will has tricked many into thinking they were created to do all they can to advance themselves on the earth, without giving any consideration to eternal life and how God will judge our actions and deeds. Please know, our primary mission is to please, serve, and obey the living God. Yes, God has been good to us, but one issue He continually has to revisit is the more He blesses His people, the more they stray from what He desires for them to do.

הילה לאל. כל בני האדם נבראו כדי לעבוד את ה' ולשרת אותו. לא נבראנו כדי לעבוד אף אל אחר, או כל דבר שהשגנו. ובכל זאת, זה מה שהאויברימה אותנו לחשוב והוא רימה רבים לחשוב שהם נבראו כדי לעשות כל שביכולתם כדי לקדם את עצמם על פני האדמה, מבלי לתת שום מחשבה לחיינצח וכיצד אלוהים ישפוט את מעשינו. דעו לכם, המשימה העיקרית שלנו היא לרצות, לשרת ולציית לאלוהים החי. כן, אלוהים היה טוב אלינו, אבלנושא אחד שהוא צריך לחזור עליו שוב ושוב הוא שככל שהוא מברך את עמו יותר, כך הם סוטים יותר ממה שהוא רוצה שיעשו.

God loves you, therefore don't disappear from God and go backwards in your love. For He, who is the creator of all living things-never intended to create people for them to ignore Him and act as if He doesn’t exist. In Jesus name I pray-whatever will cause you to disappear from God or keep you from the time you desire to be with God, may you triumph over it. May God do a new thing for you and turn what needs to be turned so your life can have peace with God. May the Lord God open new doors and move out the hinderances and the distractions that keep you from being pleasing in His sight. And may He not see you as one who has scattered your ways to the strangers under every green tree.

אלוהים אוהב אותך, לכן אל תיעלם מאלוהים ותחזור אחורה באהבתך. כי הוא, שהוא בורא כל היצורים החיים, מעולם לא התכוון לברוא אנשים כדישיתעלמו ממנו ויתנהגו כאילו אינו קיים. בשם ישוע אני מתפלל - כל מה שיגרום לך להיעלם מאלוהים או ימנע ממך להגיע לרגע בו אתה חפץ להיותעם אלוהים, מי ייתן ותנצח זאת. מי ייתן ואלוהים יעשה דבר חדש עבורך ויהפוך את מה שצריך להיפוך כדי שחייך יוכלו להיות בשלום עם אלוהים.מי ייתן ואלוהים יפתח דלתות חדשות ויסיר את המכשולים וההסחות דעת המונעים ממך להיות רצוי בעיניו. ומי ייתן ולא יראה אותך כמי שפיזר אתדרכיך לזרים תחת כל עץ רענן.

Notice, in this text He uses the metaphor "every green tree." Every green tree can imply whatever you determine is good. We also associate green trees sometimes with money. Most trees are green, but God lets us know in essence "every green tree" is not a good tree or something He desires you to seek after above Him.

שימו לב, בטקסט זה הוא משתמש במטאפורה "כל עץ ירוק". כל עץ ירוק יכול לרמוז על כל מה שאתם קובעים שהוא טוב. אנו גם מקשרים עציםירוקים לפעמים עם כסף. רוב העצים הם ירוקים, אבל אלוהים מודיע לנו שבמהות "כל עץ ירוק" אינו עץ טוב או משהו שהוא רוצה שתחפשו מעליו.

Some have scattered their ways or embraced "green trees" that we know God doesn't approve of. So, He speaks saying, "Only acknowledge your iniquity that you have transgressed against the Lord God." And later in the same chapter He says, "Return, you backsliding children and I will heal your backsliding."

ש שפיזרו את דרכיהם או אימצו "עצים ירוקים" שאנו יודעים שאלוהים אינו רואה בהם חן. לכן, הוא אומר, "רק הודה בעונך אשר פשעת בה'אלוהים". ובהמשך אותו פרק הוא אומר, "שובו, בנים שובבים וארפא את שובתכם".

When we go backwards, and not forward just admit it to God, and ask Him to return you to His good path and ways. He says...acknowledge the wrong, and don't gloss over it. For He is a forgiving God, but He wants to hear from us that we understand when our ways are not right; when we have failed in integrity and lacked trust in Him; when we have scattered our ways too much in the wrong directions and failed to notice-God is waiting for us too.

God desires your presence as well, for in Him is what you seek and He is the One who can make all your dreams come true. Whatever is a discouragement for you today-continue to ask for His help. Continue to ask for Him to pour out His Spirit on our sons and daughters. For with His spirit comes wisdom, counsel, knowledge, the fear of the Lord, and all His goodness. His Spirit causes life to be better in ways only He can do it. In Jesus name, may we continue to go forward with Jesus and may we really understand Who is interested in us and desiring our presence.

Prayer:

Father, we praise You because You are our Lord and our God. Father, the green trees that are being planted as a trap and snare to pull us away from our relationship with You-cast them down and change those situations in Your peace without hurt. Guide us to do what we can do on our part to maintain our relationship with You; that it is strengthened and not diminished. We ask You Jesus, to please help us. Jesus, we come to You asking You to heal any backsliding You see in us. Lord, we desire to be who You want us to be and for every month You give us-let us end well every month in Your sight. Lord, shine Your face upon us and prepare us for what we know not, let us not be those you ever say, depart from Me because I never knew you.In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

Jeremiah 5:20-24

20 Declare this in the house of Jacob, and publish it in Judah, saying,

21 Hear now this, O foolish people, and without understanding; which have eyes, and see not; which have ears, and hear not:

22 Fear ye not Me? saith the Lord: will ye not tremble at My presence, which have placed the sand for the bound of the sea by a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass it: and though the waves thereof toss themselves, yet can they not prevail; though they roar, yet can they not pass over it?

23 But this people hath a revolting and a rebellious heart; they are revolted and gone.

24 Neither say they in their heart, Let us now fear the Lord our God, that giveth rain, both the former and the latter, in His season: He reserveth unto us the appointed weeks of the harvest.

Psalm 25:8-13

Glory to God. Beloveds, we need the Spirit of the Lord to walk in truth and integrity before the Lord God. For the enemy desires to lead us down paths of destructions just by our willingness to ignore that integrity is required for children of God. The devil and all his helpers are hope to bring us to a place our text describes: a place where we hear, but understand not; we see, but perceive not. A place where we have eyes, and see not the Word of the Lord; a place where we have ears, and hear not the corrections of the Father. But in Jesus name, I pray that is not your portion.

Yes, the devil is a wicked enemy who carefully observes our lives for any opportunity to oppress or make us miserable. He desires for us to fail in our walk with God, even to the extent where we take no thought of punishment or consequences for our deeds. And one method he is using now is by launching an attack in the area of integrity. He is painting a picture that integrity doesn’t matter to God, we can do whatever, and many are blinded to the fact that the future can change and things won’t always be as they are today.

When we begin to ignore integrity and forget God is holy, we can become in the eyes of the God what He calls foolish people. For it is written in Jeremiah 5:21 “Hear now this, O foolish people, and without understanding; which have eyes, and see not; which have ears, and hear not: Fear ye not Me? saith the Lord: will ye not tremble at My presence?”

Without doubt, the enemy has initiated an attack causing many Christians to think our eyes and ears (and the eyes and ears of technology) are superior to the eyes and ears of the Lord. God forbid! He has exploited our minds to think God has signed off on lies, deceit, falsehoods, schemes, and has cancelled integrity. But beloveds don’t be tricked by Satan for he is not the one who will judge your deeds, but the Lord God Almighty.

Thus know, the Word says good and upright is the Lord. It says all the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth unto such as keep His covenant and testimonies. But the enemy has deceived us to thinking our way is the right way no matter how we achieve our objectives. We are quick to embrace His mercy, but not His truth. Hence, when we operate our lives in integrity we uphold His truth.

דעו לכן, הדבר אומר טוב וישר ה'. נאמר כל נתיבות ה' חסד ואמת לשומרי בריתו ועדותו. אך האויב רימה אותנו לחשוב שדרכנו היא הדרךהנכונה, לא משנה איך נשיג את מטרותינו. אנו ממהרים לאמץ את רחמיו, אך לא את אמתו. לפיכך, כאשר אנו פועלים בחיינו בשלמות, אנומקיימים את אמתו.

Beloveds, we must live a life that fears the Lord. And one definition of fearing the Lord is to have an honored awareness there is a God who decides our next moment. It is to be aware that God-not man, nor those we look up to, or those we work for have the power to decide the number of our days. It is to knowing God is the one who created the air we breathe and He can take His air away. He is the One who says when your life is no more and He knows the very second your journey on earth will end. He is the one that decides each and every day if you will wake up the next morning or even live through the day. Meditate on this.

Thus, it seems God is somewhat bewildered at our deeds and actions. He asks, “Fear ye not Me?” Have we become so brazen to honor man and ourselves, that we have forgotten our first priority is to fear the Lord? Have we forgotten it is written in His Word, according to our deeds He will repay? Do they not know it is written in Psalm 28:4, “Give them according to their deeds, and according to the wickedness of their endeavors: give them after the work of their hands; render to them their desert.” Have they forgotten that I am a God of truth, integrity, and uprightness? “Fear ye not Me? saith the Lord God.

Prayer:

Father, You are Lord of all and God of all. Let us not be those who fear man more than we fear You. Let us not be those who look to the earth for our help, and forget we are a creation of Your hands. Father, if life has consumed us into thinking You don’t have a say in our future and eternity-forgive us Lord. Father teach us Your way and teach us the fear of the Lord. For You are holy and we desire to return to Your ways, so our soul can dwell at ease. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

Zechariah 7:1-10

1 And it came to pass in the fourth year of king Darius, that the word of the Lord came unto Zechariah in the fourth day of the ninth month, even in Chisleu;

2 When they had sent unto the house of God Sherezer and Regemmelech, and their men, to pray before the Lord,

3 And to speak unto the priests which were in the house of the Lord of hosts, and to the prophets, saying, Should I weep in the fifth month, separating myself, as I have done these so many years?

4 Then came the word of the Lord of hosts unto me, saying,

5 Speak unto all the people of the land, and to the priests, saying, When ye fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh month, even those seventy years, did ye at all fast unto me, even to me?

6 And when ye did eat, and when ye did drink, did not ye eat for yourselves, and drink for yourselves?

7 Should ye not hear the words which the Lord hath cried by the former prophets, when Jerusalem was inhabited and in prosperity, and the cities thereof round about her, when men inhabited the south and the plain?

8 And the word of the Lord came unto Zechariah, saying,

9 Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and shew mercy and compassions every man to his brother:

10 And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart.

זכריה ז:1-10 1 ויהי בשנה הרביעית למלך דריוש ויהי דבר ה' אל זכריה ביום הרביעי לחודש התשיעי בכישלו 2 וישלחו אל בית האלהים את שרעזרואת רגמלך ואת אנשיהם להתפלל לפני ה' 3 ולדבר אל הכהנים אשר בבית ה' צבאות ואל הנביאים לאמר הא אבכה בחודש החמישי להתבודד כאשרעשיתי שנים רבות אלה׃ 4 ויהי דבר ה' צבאות אלי לאמר ה דבר אל כל עם הארץ ואל הכהנים לאמר כי צמתם ותסבלתם בחודש החמישי ובשביעישבעים שנה ההיא האם צמתם לי גם לי׃ 6 וכאשר אכלתם וכאשר שתיתם הלוא אכלתם לעצמכם ושתיתם לעצמכם ז הלוא תשמעו את הדברים אשרקרא יהוה ביד הנביאים הראשנים בהיות ירושלים ישובה ושגשוגה וערי סביבותיה בהיות אנשים יושבים בנגב ובמישור. ח ויהי דבר יהוה אל זכריהלאמר: ט כה אמר יהוה צבאות לאמר עשו משפט אמת ועשו חסד ורחמים איש לאחיו. 10 ואל תדחק אלמנה ויתום גר ועני ולא תחשבו רעה על אחיובלבבכם.

Glory to God. This is an interesting text the Holy Spirit chose to talk about today and I believe it is light to what we should be focusing on, and not what we think we should be focusing on. In the passage, there were those who came to pray before the Lord and to speak privately with the priests and the prophets. In their conversation, they had a specific question about the fasting they were doing in the fifth month and if they should continue to do this fast as they had done for many years. Well, the Lord decided to give them an answer right then and there through the prophet Zechariah. And God’s reply wasn’t just to the people who had come to ask the question, but He wanted “all the people of the land” to know how he felt about all the fasting they were doing and I believe He is saying the same to us today.

תהילה לאל. זהו פסוק מעניין שרוח הקודש בחרה לדבר עליו היום ואני מאמין שהוא מאיר את מה שעלינו להתמקד בו, ולא את מה שאנחנו חושביםשעלינו להתמקד בו. בקטע, היו כאלה שבאו להתפלל לפני ה' ולדבר באופן פרטי עם הכוהנים והנביאים. בשיחתם, הייתה להם שאלה ספציפית לגביהצום שהם עשו בחודש החמישי והאם עליהם להמשיך לצום כפי שעשו במשך שנים רבות. ובכן, ה' החליט לתת להם תשובה בו במקום דרך הנביאזכריה. ותשובתו של אלוהים לא הייתה רק לאנשים שבאו לשאול את השאלה, אלא שהוא רצה ש"כל עם הארץ" ידע מה הוא מרגיש לגבי כל הצומותשהם עשו ואני מאמין שהוא אומר לנו את אותו הדבר גם היום.

The Lord responded, “When ye fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh month, even those seventy years, did ye at all fast unto Me, even to Me? And when ye did eat, and when ye did drink, did not ye eat for yourselves, and drink for yourselves?” The Lord in essence was saying, I have seen your fasting, but it was not for Me-but for yourselves. Just as I have seen how you eat and drink, and that has nothing to do with Me either, but you eat and drink for yourself.” He then diverted from fasting, and said further, “Should ye not hear the words which the Lord hath cried by the former prophets, when Jerusalem was inhabited and in prosperity, and the cities thereof round about?”

ה' ענה, "כאשר צמתם והתאבלתם בחודש החמישי ובשביעי, שבעים שנה אלה, האם צמתם לי, לי? וכאשר אכלתם וכאשר שתיתם, האם לא אכלתםלעצמכם ושתיתם לעצמכם?" ה' למעשה אמר, ראיתי את צוםכם, אך לא למעני, אלא לעצמכם. כשם שראיתי כיצד אתם אוכלים ושותים, וגם לזה איןשום קשר אליי, אלא שאתם אוכלים ושותים לעצמכם." לאחר מכן הוא סטה מהצום, ואמר עוד, "האם לא תשמעו את הדברים אשר קרא ה' בידהנביאים הראשנים, כאשר ירושלים הייתה מיושבת ושגשוגה, וערי סביבה?"

God redirected their attention to His Word! Obviously, they had forgotten the Words spoken to the former prophets during the time when prosperity was in the land and Jerusalem was well inhabited. He redirected them to know that how His main concern was how they treated one another ABOVE all the fasting and prayers they were doing. Their focus was on the religious conduct and God’s attention was watching their holy conduct. And in the days when Jerusalem had holy conduct according to His standards, those were days of prosperity and the land was inhabited in peace.

אלוהים הפנה את תשומת ליבם לדברו! ברור שהם שכחו את הדברים שנאמרו לנביאים הקודמים בתקופה שבה שגשוג שרר בארץ וירושלים הייתהמיושבת בשלום. הוא הפנה אותם לדעת שדאגתו העיקרית היא כיצד הם מתייחסים זה לזה, מעל לכל הצומות והתפילות שהם עושים. תשומת ליבםהייתה בהתנהגות הדתית ותשומת ליבו של אלוהים הייתה צופה בהתנהגותם הקדושה. ובימים שבהם ירושלים הייתה קדושה על פי אמות המידה שלו, אלה היו ימי שגשוג והארץ הייתה מיושבת בשלום.

If the Lord is speaking on this today, He is not speaking in vain. For while we apply all the spiritual activities to get God to move, in this passage the Lord turns us to what is better if we desire prosperous days and peace in the land. And as He said then, He is saying the same thing again. Walk in love. If we desire the blessings of the Lord and for Him to move, before we depend on fasting and prayers-let us first check our holy conduct one for another.

אם ה' מדבר על כך היום, הוא אינו מדבר לשווא. כי בעוד שאנו מיישמים את כל הפעילויות הרוחניות כדי לגרום לאלוהים לפעול, בקטע זה ה' מפנהאותנו למה שטוב יותר אם אנו רוצים ימים של שגשוג ושלום בארץ. וכפי שאמר אז, הוא אומר את אותו הדבר שוב. לכו באהבה. אם אנו רוצים אתברכות ה' ושהוא יפעל, לפני שאנו מסתמכים על צום ותפילות - הבה נבדוק תחילה את התנהגותנו הקדושה זה כלפי זה.

Thus speaks the LORD OF HOSTS on this day:

-Execute true judgment

-Show mercy and compassions every man to his brother

-Oppress not the widow,

-Oppress not the fatherless,

-Oppress not the stranger

-Oppress not the poor

-Let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart

- עשו משפט אמת - גלו חסד ורחמים איש לאחיו - אל תדחק אלמנה - אל תידחקו יתום - אל תדחק גר - אל תדחק עני - איש מכם יחשב רעה על אחיו בלבבכם

If you are a child of God, this is what our assignment is each and every day.

So, before we look for the Lord to answer our fasting and prayers, have we done what the Lord of Hosts said above? If not, do this first for ignoring His direction will have an impact on our prosperity and the peace of the land. Know, there was a time Jerusalem understood this correlation to the blessings of the Lord, and believed to do what God had commanded. Will we also believe and do? Let those who have ears, hear what the Lord of Hosts has spoken.

Prayer:

Father, whatever You are seeing in us, in the land, and in the nations that is not right-Father, help us turn and correct ourselves. For You, oh God, have been so merciful and compassionate to us-how can we not extend mercy and compassion one for another? For one has, but doesn’t desire another to have. One rises, but hinders another from rising. We desire wealth, but we seek not wealth for all around us. We eat, yet we hide our eyes from those without food?

We are well, but we look at others who are sick and struggling and refuse to render aide.

Forgive us Lord, for if this is our heart-it is wicked before You no matter how much we fast and call on the Name of the Lord. Do we not fear You Lord? Father, forgive us for we know not what we do. Lord, we acknowledge-whatever we have it is because You alone have given it to us.

Let us never forget You are the God who gives, and takes away. Let us show mercy and compassions one for another before the prosperity You have allowed us to have is taken away. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
