Deuteronomy 5:29-33
29. O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!
מי יתן והיה לבבם זה להם ליראה אתי ולשמר את כל מצותי כל הימים למען ייטב להם ולבניהם לעלם׃
30. Go say to them, Get you into your tents again.
לך אמר להם שובו לכם לאהליכם׃
31. But as for thee, stand thou here by me, and I will speak unto thee all the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which thou shalt teach them, that they may do them in the land which I give them to possess it.
ואתה פה עמד עמדי ואדברה אליך את כל המצוה והחקים והמשפטים אשר תלמדם ועשו בארץ אשר אנכי נתן להםלרשתה׃
32. Ye shall observe to do therefore as the LORD your God hath commanded you: ye shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left.

בכל הדרך אשר צוה יהוה אלהיכם אתכם תלכו למען תחיון וטוב לכם והארכתם ימים בארץ אשר

Glory to God. We praise the Lord our God that He decreed graced to enter the ninth month! But not only has He allowed us to enter this month, but we entered it with a Word of "favor". Therefore, let us not take His Word of favor for granted because the Word speaks that He can render no favor. Isaiah 27:11 says, "For it is a people of no understanding: therefore He that made them will not have mercy on them, and He that formed them will show them no favor." In Jesus name this is not your portion for God has spoken favor over you. However, this verse tells us the favor of the Lord is something He decides to grant because His eyes are upon you and you have found grace in His sight.

Nevertheless, if favor can be given-it can also be taken away. Thus, the Holy Spirit takes us to Deuteronomy to receive words He spoke long ago. These are words of wisdom and instruction to govern our lives to maintain His blessings of favor. And when Jesus came, He also proclaimed the same message to fear the Lord and obey His commandments. Jesus never changed His Words, but with Jesus He extended grace when we don't do as we should. We all are recipients of the grace of God which allows time for us to get it together.

The Word of the Lord speaks today saying, "O that there were such a heart in them, that they would fear Me, and keep all My commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!" Here again, we see an instruction to fear God. It is God in essence telling us, "Be wise, and do what Your Maker tells you to do."
דבר ה' אומר היום: "לואי היה לב כזה בהם, כי יראו אותי, ושמרו את כלמצותיי כל הימים, למען ייטב להם ולבניהם עד עולם!" כאן שוב, אנורואים הוראה ליראה את אלוהים. אלוהים הוא למעשה האומר לנו: "היהחכם, ועשה את אשר יאמר לך בוראיך".
God places people in charge of things on earth and we are seeing now what a person in charge can do with their power. Well, God is greater than any human being and He gave the breath that keeps us alive. He and He alone decides every moment who will live to breathe the next breath. And knowing this, will not we fear Him? Will we refuse to respect His power? We should fear Him because we know He is the one who keeps us alive; He is the one who keeps us safe and sound; and He is the one perfects all that concerns us.

So He pleads with us, "O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear Me, and keep all My commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!" In Jesus name may we receive the heart that will always reverence God as God.
אז הוא מתחנן בפנינו, "לו היה בהם לב כזה כי יראו אותי ושמרו את כלמצותיי תמיד למען ייטב להם ולבניהם עד עולם!" בשם ישוע הבה נקבלאת הלב שיירא תמיד את אלוהים כאלוהים.
Prayer:
Father, You are our shepherd therefore we shall not want. Lord, let us not make anything else the shepherd and keeper over our lives. And because You are our shepherd-we ask, Father, give us the heart to fear You. Father, release in us the heart to learn and keep Your commandments always so Your favor over our lives will remain. Lord, turn our lives in Your right direction and help us to do Your right will and not our will. Let us never forget You Lord for You are the One who makes all things well. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

9 Then I came to the governors beyond the river, and gave them the king's letters. Now the king had sent captains of the army and horsemen with me.
10 When Sanballat the Horonite, and Tobiah the servant, the Ammonite, heard of it, it grieved them exceedingly that there was come a man to seek the welfare of the children of Israel.

Nehemiah 6:1-2
1 Now it came to pass when Sanballat, and Tobiah, and Geshem the Arabian, and the rest of our enemies, heard that I had builded the wall, and that there was no breach left therein; (though at that time I had not set up the doors upon the gates;)
2 That Sanballat and Geshem sent unto me, saying, Come, let us meet together in some one of the villages in the plain of Ono. But they thought to do me mischief.
נחמיה ו':1-2 א ויהי כאשר שמעו סנבלט וטוביה וגשם הערבי ושאר אויבינו כי בניתי את החומה וכי לא נותר בה פרץ(ובעת ההיא לא שמתי דלתות בשערים) ב וישלח סנבלט וגשם אלי לאמר לכה נפגש באחד החצרים בערבת אונו וחשבולעשות לי רעה.
Glory to God. When you are a child of God you will need the ability to discern and perceive what is of the Lord for your life and what is not. As our text makes known, every meeting is not for your good. For at certain times, there will be those in the earth who use meetings for mischief to harm and not to be a help to you. Some meetings will be called as a snare or trap against you and to make you afraid. This was the during Nehemiah's life and because of his spiritual sensitivity-he was alerted the meetings requesting his presence weren't for his good, but his hurt.

But why was the enemy after Nehemiah? Nehemiah 2 tells us he was one who sought for the welfare of the children of Israel. In today's terms we can look at Nehemiah as one who cared for the wellbeing of Israel and their people, or one who cared for the Jewish people. And because Nehemiah sought the welfare of Israel, several people or "spirits working through people"-rose up against Nehemiah to stop his work. And our text identifies two main individuals, but there were also several others assisting them to stop the work of God.
אבל מדוע האויב רדף אחרי נחמיה? נחמיה ב' מספר לנו שהוא היה זה שדאג לרווחת בני ישראל. במונחים של ימינונוכל להתייחס לנחמיה כאל זה שדאג לרווחת ישראל ועמו, או כאל זה שדאג לעם היהודי. ומכיוון שנחמיה חיפש אתרווחת ישראל, מספר אנשים או "רוחות הפועלות דרך אנשים" קמו נגד נחמיה כדי לעצור את עבודתו. והטקסט שלנומזהה שני אנשים עיקריים, אך היו גם כמה אחרים שסייעו להם לעצור את עבודת האל.
Now although these people seemed to be friendly toward Nehemiah, they were actually grieved that he sought the welfare of the children of Israel. And it is because of this-what was being done for Israel that there was a call for a meeting in the first place. In the meeting request, the goal of the enemy was to weakened the hands of Nehemiah against his work for Israel, put him in fear, and develop an evil report against him.
למרות שאנשים אלה נראו ידידותיים כלפי נחמיה, הם למעשה התעצבו על כך שהוא דאג לטובת בני ישראל. ודווקאבגלל זה - מה שנעשה למען ישראל - הוזמנה מלכתחילה קריאה לפגישה. בבקשת הפגישה, מטרת האויב הייתהלהחליש את ידיו של נחמיה כנגד עבודתו למען ישראל, להפחיד אותו ולפתח עליו שמועה רעה.
I pray today, whomever is working against you because of the good you do for people, or for God-may the spirit of the Lord reveal them to you and deal with them swiftly. Please know, this is one of the reasons the Holy Spirit advised us to watch and pray because we can walk around thinking everyone is for our good! But beloveds, this is just not true! The enemy moves in and out of people and situations to ruin our destiny. You may go into situations with the mindset for peace, and in that same situation come out attacked, bruised, and perplexed not realizing it was a planned ambush. In Jesus name, may the Lord alert you before you enter these types of situations, just as He alerted Nehemiah.
אני מתפלל היום, מי שפועל נגדכם בגלל הטוב שאתם עושים לאנשים, או למען אלוהים - מי ייתן ורוח ה' תגלה לכםאותו ותטפל בו במהירות. דעו, זו אחת הסיבות שרוח הקודש ייעצה לנו לעקוב ולהתפלל, כי אנחנו יכולים להסתובבולחשוב שכולם לטובתנו! אבל אהובים, זה פשוט לא נכון! האויב נכנס ויוצא מאנשים וממצבים כדי להרוס את גורלנו. אתם עשויים להיכנס למצבים עם חשיבה של שלום, ובאותו מצב לצאת מותקפים, חבולים ומבולבלים מבלי להביןשמדובר במארב מתוכנן. בשם ישוע, מי ייתן וה' יתריע בפניכם לפני שאתם נכנסים

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, increase our spiritual sensitivity of what is going on around us. Father, reveal to us ambushes before we enter them. Lord, help us this week to
make right decisions and help us guard our hearts, our work, and our time. Father, cast down every wrong intention planned against us and let no weapon formed against us prosper. God of Hosts-release Your weapons to fight on our behalf. Father, bless us; favor us; let Your countenance of health, wellness, and prosperity be our portion. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

2 And Ahaziah fell down through a lattice in his upper chamber that was in Samaria, and was sick: and he sent messengers, and said unto them, Go, enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron whether I shall recover of this disease.
3 But the angel of the Lord said to Elijah the Tishbite, Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria, and say unto them, Is it not because there is not a God in Israel, that ye go to enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron?

Glory to God. Beloveds, when it comes to our lives and recovery from sickness, God expects our hope to be in Him. For it displeases the Lord God when we place our hope in anything else to keep us alive. This week, the Lord God has been sitting on this subject to not be casted down and our soul in turmoil, but to place our hope in Him-our God for He is the health of our countenance. You know, if we are to be healed-no matter how we are healed our help comes from the Lord. And it is only by His grace we have the care we do in this country, for there are numerous countries where people are dealing with the same issue you face and they have no help from any physician or hospital. Meditate on that. There are millions and millions of people in this world dealing with the same disease and some have placed their hope in God and others have not.
תהילה לאל. אהובים, כשמדובר בחיינו ובהחלמתנו ממחלות, אלוהים מצפה שתקוותנו תהיה בו. כי אין זה מוצא חןבעיני ה' אלוהים כשאנו שמים את תקוותנו בכל דבר אחר שיעזור לנו לחיות. השבוע, ה' אלוהים ישב בנושא זה, לאלהתייאש ולהיות בסערה, אלא לשים את תקוותנו בו - באלוהינו כי הוא בריאות פנינו. אתם יודעים, אם אנו רוציםלהירפא - לא משנה איך נרפא, עזרתנו מגיעה מה'. ורק בחסדו יש לנו את הטיפול שאנו מקבלים במדינה זו, כי ישנןמדינות רבות בהן אנשים מתמודדים עם אותה בעיה שאתם מתמודדים איתה ואין להם עזרה מרופא או בית חולים. הרהרו על כך. ישנם מיליוני אנשים בעולם הזה המתמודדים עם אותה מחלה וחלקם שמו את תקוותם באלוהים ואחריםלא.
In this text, God gives an example of a king who should have been hoping in God, yet He was seeking a word from another god if he would recover or not. The passage is specific to let us know this king had a disease and when he sought another god-his behavior angered the Lord. And in His anger, the Lord God sent an angel to speak to Elijah who intercepted his inquiry with a message from the Lord. The message was: "Is it not because there is not a God in Israel, that ye go to enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron?"

The Lord has told us to place our hope in Him. But now He is speaking to someone who is dealing with a disease and you are casted down wondering if you will recover. And I don't know who your hope is in for your answer, but the Lord God has sent this Word to you this day: Is it not because there is not a God in Israel, that ye go to enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron?
ה' אמר לנו לשים בו את תקוותנו. אבל עכשיו הוא מדבר אל מישהו שמתמודד עם מחלה ואתם נבוכים ותוהים אםתחלימו. ואני לא יודע במי אתם מקווים לתשובתכם, אבל ה' אלוהים שלח לכם את הדבר הזה היום: הלא מפני שאיןאלוהים בישראל אתם הולכים לדרוש את בעל זבוב אלוהי עקרון?
Please know, the God who made you is the decider of what happens to you. In Jesus name, know only the One who made you can decide what happens with your life. Take my advice and have hope in Him for the individual in this chapter didn't end well because of asking another god if he would recover or not. Without doubt, man didn't make your body and it is impossible for man to heal it. Man can only treat us and we thank God for the treatments. No person or any other god had anything to do with your existence nor have they carried you one step of the way. But, on bad days and good days-the Lord your God has healed you time and time again. And every time we wake up-a healing has taken place because thousands didn't wake up. Place your hope in God. For the same God can send an angel and turn your mourning into dancing. He can heal, cure, and recover you from every sickness and every disease just as He did for those who hoped in Him when Jesus came. Have faith and hope in God for He is the only One keeping you alive.
דעו בבקשה, האל שברא אתכם הוא זה שמחליט מה יקרה לכם. בשם ישוע, דעו שרק זה שברא אתכם יכול להחליט מהיקרה עם חייכם. קחו את עצתי ותקוו בו, כי האדם בפרק זה לא הסתיים טוב בגלל ששאלתי אל אחר אם יחלים או לא. אין ספק, האדם לא ברא את גופכם ואי אפשר לאדם לרפא אותו. האדם יכול לטפל רק בנו ואנו מודים לאלוהים עלהטיפולים. לאף אדם או לאף אל אחר לא היה קשר לקיומכם, וגם לא נשא אתכם צעד אחד בדרך. אבל, בימים רעיםובימים טובים - ה' אלוהיך ריפא אתכם שוב ושוב. ובכל פעם שאנו מתעוררים - התרחש ריפוי משום שאלפים לאהתעוררו. שימו את תקוותכם באלוהים. כי אותו אלוהים יכול לשלוח מלאך ולהפוך את אבלכם לריקוד. הוא יכול לרפא, לרפא ולהבריא אתכם מכל מחלה וכל מחלה בדיוק כפי שעשה עבור אלו שקיוו בו כשבא ישוע. תאמינו ותקו באלוהים כיהוא היחיד ששומר עליכם בחיים.
Prayer:
Jesus, we just want to thank you today for Your care over our lives. We thank you for still loving us and we thank you for guiding us in the right direction. Lord, we thank you for Your patience. Jesus, we thank you for healing, mending, and repairing our bodies, broken hearts, and healing every sickness and disease. We thank you for Your recovery plan over our lives. We may not see it today, but we know You have a recovery in store for us for You have not asked us to seek you in vain. Father, heal, restore, recover, and recompense our lives for all that has been done against us and to us. Restore the years oh God that have been stolen from us. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
